ProsI am averaging more than 25 mpg - 40% hwy ConsNeeds more storage cubbys

Roomy, Comfortable, Great Handling, Fuel Efficient, Adequate Acceleration And Braking — I call this vehicle the Mazda Miata of SUV's. The steering is quick and precise, the outward visibility is very good, the seats are comfy, and the radio sounds good (it has speed sensitive volume control). But if you are looking for a cushy ride, better look elswhere unless your travel is mostly smooth freeways as this car does not soak up the bumps well. This could possibly be partly a result of the OEM Bridgestone tires. From what I've read online, owners have had to replace these tires prematurely and most of the aftermarket tires have improved the ride and handling. I have only a few thousand miles on my CR-V and so far have no tire complaints other than the aforementioned stiff ride over bumps. Other than that, I like my CR-V. The seats are high for good visibility, it's easy to park, it's fun to drive, and it has the Honda name which means it will be reliable. What's not to like? Primary Use: Family transportation

Prosstyle, quality, ride, smoothness Consneeds continuously variable transmission or more efficient backshift on hills

Love It — I like its style, quality, smooth ride. Just took 2000 mile journey, mostly highway driving. Averaged 25.5 mpg. Slow to backshift on hills, otherwise great ride. I enjoy driving it. The navigation pakage is great, but with a couple of errors in turn by turn directions in some newly constructed areas. A database update should correct. Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsRides nice, handles well. Gas mileage is respectable. ConsEngine lacks power. Bluetooth system is ackward to use

Good Car For The Price. — Several things missing from the EX-L level that should be part of that level; 1. Autodimming Rear View Mirror 2. Projector Headlamps with HID 3. LED Taillights Engine chould use better torque and power. Engine very anemic. Could be quieter inside. A bit of engine noise creeps in and is annoying. It rides nice and handles fine for its group. Don't expect this to ride like a Honda Accord. This is more of a sporty suspension. UPDATE: After 1.5 years of ownership this is my latest review of my 2010 CR-V: Including everything I included above I have discovered the following: The bluetooth system in this car is at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to human interface. The system doesn't relay any information while using it. Nothing is displayed on the large screen except that bluetooth is in use. It is all voice controlled and it too is less than stella. Don't get me wrong, it works sometimes and gets it right when using voice identification to call someone. It gets the wrong number or nothing at all many times. It is a very frustrating system. When it does work it is OK. My wife's 2011 Hyundai Elantra has bluetooth and it is far superior to the Honda's. The Elantra has a nice size screen with full bluetooth functionality including a keypad to dial with if needed. The display gives you all the info about what is going on with the sytem. It is an awesome system. Honda should learn from Hyundai. Conclusion: The CR-V is a very nice, reliable vehicle but its' technology is a bit antiquated. It could use a real update. Hopefully the 2012 model will get there. Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsLooks great, feels great, runs great! ConsNone so far

It's A Great Vehicle With An Outstanding Track Record For An Affordable Price. — The 2010 Honda CR-V EX 4WD is a great choice for someone who likes an affordable vehicle with style, comfort and fuel economy. The seats are extremely comfortable there is so much leg room both front and back. The cargo area is surprising large for the size of the car. After reading the reviews, we were a little concerned that the 4 cylinder engine would be under powered, but we find it has plenty of power and we live in an area with steep hills to drive up and down. We are very pleased with our purchase and look forward to many years of fun driving in our new CR-V. Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsGreat gas mileage. Roomy, even for tall drivers. ConsRough ride

Great On Gas, But Rough Ride. — My car gets over 27 miles to the gallon and we love that, however, I rode in the back seat for the first time last weekend and will never do THAT again! I have a very bad back with three herniated discs in my lumbar area. We hit a bump that nearly crippled me. It caused severe pain. I called the Honda dealer and told them what happened. I asked if they could adjust my shocks and they said they couldn't. They said they've heard this complaint before. Despite the gas mileage, I will be looking for another vehicle with a better ride. I also own a 1998 CR-V and don't remember it riding this rough. Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsGreat mileage, sleek styling ConsA bit of road noise

Very Versatile And Good Looking — The car is very nimble. Rear view is not great but the side mirrors compensate. Great mileage. Beautiful to look at. Comfortable seats. AC great. I'm used to a V6 so it seemed a little slow to respond at first until I got used to it. Lots of storage and tech connections. XM is fun to have. I feel safe in it. Best Value For A Compact Suv — This 2010 Honda CR-V replaced a 7 passenger van. Now we can drive with no blind spots, and much higher fuel economy. The interior design appears very simple, but everything that is needed is there and easy to get. Very roomy for family travel as well as day to day activities. Primary Use: Family transportation
