Overview of 2010 Chevrolet Impala LTZ By R. Feeman

The 2010 Chevrolet Impala LTZ delivers more power and acceleration than the other two Impala trims, thanks to its 3.9-liter V6 engine, which produces 233 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque. The FlexFuel-capable V6 powerplant links to an electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and posts fuel economy numbers of 17/27 mpg. The LTZ sits on a four-wheel independent suspension with Luxury Tuning, which provides a firmer ride than the other Impala trims and improves agility and handling, as well as overall balance. Standard safety- and performance-related features for the 2010 Impala LTZ include antilock brakes, traction control, and the StabiliTrak electronic stability control program.

Leather upholstery, heated front seats, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system come standard in the 2010 Impala LTZ. The LTZ also includes such trim-only standard features as Bluetooth, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a universal home remote, and a flip-and-fold-flat rear seat with a pass-through to the trunk, which adds cargo flexibility. A leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats, remote keyless entry, cruise control, and wood-grain applique also come standard. Optional equipment for the LTZ includes a power tilt-and-slide sunroof and a turn-by-turn navigation system. Outside, standard features include a rear spoiler, dual stainless steel exhaust outlets, and heated exterior mirrors. The 2010 LTZ rides on 18-inch machine-faced aluminum wheels with all-season tires.

This overview covers the LTZ trim only.
