Worst Car I Have Drove And Would Not Recommend To Anyone — I don't even know where to start with this car. When I tested this car all I wanted to do was to see what all of the hype was. Everyone that I talked to that owned one of these cars said that they were the best things they've ever been in. All I can say is I don't know what's wrong with them because this was the worst car i have ever drove in my life. If we were in a large crowded city then this interview would be totally different, but where I drove this car most of the roads i was on was motor ways. The car that I drove was a Pure model which is a nice way of saying it cheap with nothing in it. When they were building this car they stripped everything unnecessary to keep it cheap and lightweight, but i think that they went a little to far with this. With a car these days there are just things that should be standard on a car and power steering is one of them, and i don't think Mercedes-Benz got the memo on that one. When accelerating in this car the only way to star relatively comfortable is by hardly touching the gas pedal because when you do go hard on the pedal the shifting is absolutely horrid. Using the clutch-less manual transmission shifting is supposed to be made smoother but in the Fourtwo you go flying forward and then flying backwards every time. Another thing that is horrible in this car is the top speed. 144 km/h is higher than any speed limit that I have seen but still we all know people dont go the speed limit. And if your in a hurry or trying to overtake someone this car just wont cut it. The interior on this car was just hideous. Although one good thing about this car is that there is a lot of room in the cabin as the result of no boot. But the color choices are ugly and everything was made from cheap products. The exterior styling of the Fourtwo isn't much better than the interior. It's ugly, made from cheap materials, and the panels just fall off.

Not Worth The Money — Just picked up the car yesterday. Unfortunately, I did not test drive. Reserved, came in and purchased. Have 90 miles and it is the worst car I have ever driven. Been driving since 1976. Transmission is awful. The suspension is even worse. With options and PA sales tax paid $19,500. Worst vehicle investment I ever made. You feel like you just got beat up after driving this car. Ever drive a go-cart? If so, this is exactly how the ride feels. Only the go-cart feels better because you are on a smooth track. I sure hope I can sell this in the spring. Seems like many purchasers are trying to sell.

ProsI love this little car. It's been an amazing what you can get into it. It's a great little commuter car. It's also fun to drive to events . . . parking is a dream. You can shoehorn it in to spaces that no other car could fit in to. It takes up about half the space in my garage that a normal car would. ConsIt won't go over 100 mph.

A Nice Surprise — After 37,500 miles, I have to say this car has been one of my biggest surprises. I bought it because I'm cheap and I liked the fuel economy, but hated to give up all the creature comforts. But this little car had legroom, and lots of options. I thought I'd probably not like the little car, but I was willing to make the sacrifice. But the car has won me over. It's surprisingly roomy, easy to own, even fun to drive. I love the power-convertible roof, the heated seats, the sound system. I've owned 25 or 30 cars, from M3's to Grand Wagonners, Sentras to 300D's. This is the only car that has surprised me, other than the M3. Both were a lot better than I thought they could be. Primary Use: Commuting to work

If you get a dent all you do it quickly and easily change the panel at the nearest garage.
