Murano Has Surprises For You! — Nissan Murano ST (AUSTRALIA) is pretty good for its class as a SUV. Very comfortable, transmission is smooth, engine sounds good and powerful, base model has heaps of things already included which is not with the other make and models. Its has leather seats, stearing and gear knob and also 6stacker disc(MP3 compatible) on dash which is very nicely matched with bose speakers and sounds very nice. Safety features like front and side airbags, vehicle stability control, anti lock braking, brake distribution etc. Its bit thirsty but pretty similar to the other AWD vehicles of its class and in the same time should settle down after 10k i think. Primary Use: Family transportation

Crossover With A Different Look. — Have been very happy with Nissan cars owned in the past. Like the look and feel of the Murano. Also feel it should be a reliable and comfortable car. Prices for the 2009 seem very high as they are only 12-25% less than a new Murano. Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros3.5-liter V6 engine, 265 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque Conscan't think of one

Nissan's Next-generation Murano — The interior features a push-button ignition, a standard audio system with a six-disc CD changer, and an auxiliary jack for portable audio devices. An iPod-specific connector will be available on the pricier LE model. Other options include heated front and rear seats, DVD navigation, an upgraded Bose audio system, and a 9.3-gigabyte hard drive to store music and other data.

ProsLove how this car handles & very reliable! Safety features are great too ConsNothing enough for car seats, back seats need to be roomier to allow car seats to fit without moving front seat up.

Great Car But Not Big Enough For Family — Great mid size SUV love all the features but not big enough for our rear facing car seat & growing family. Safety features are great & very reliable vehicle like the double sun roof & built well. Wish the back seat was bigger with more leg room. Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsAwesome in the snow. Great Handling. No maintenance problems. ConsPower on take-off leaves a little to be desired. Acceleration at speed is great though!

Great Medium Sized Crossover — Car looks nice. Front is aggressive for a crossover. Interior is like a luxury car. Beautiful inside and great looks outside. Take off torque could be a little better, but no complaints once you're moving. Passes without hesitation, and very smooth with the CVT. Primary Use: Family transportation

Way More Good Than Bad — amazing car, great motor and transmission. interior quality is outstanding. ride is smooth and steering feels tight and precise. auto headlights with tilt is a nice option even if they dont seem to adjust as far as they should. only complaint is it only averages 21 mpg mixed with a moderate-light foot Primary Use: Family transportation

Awesome Car — Has all the options. Very smooth ride. Great acceleration. A little pricey considering its not a luxury brand, but it compares very well to the Lexus RX, Acura MDX and alike. The iPod connection could be better if it charged your iPod while playing. Primary Use: Commuting to work

My Murano — I LOVE LOVE, LOVE my Murano..... just afraid to let my Hubby know.... he'll decide to change vehicles on me again...lol It is quiet, goes anywhere, fits in the garage nicely, just wish it got 30 plus mile to the gallon, and the tires weren't going to be such an expense when it comes time to replace them. Sits in the garage most the time so has rather low miles on it. Hubby can ride in it for extended periods and is able to walk normally afterwards. Great car for 'Older-folks'! Like I say I LOVE IT Primary Use: Family transportation
