ProsGreat car drives good and has sync technology... Conssteering and gas pedal hard to depress

09 Fusion — great car handles well on the road, only con is that steering is sometimes harder compared to the new cars out now. The fusion brand from ford is here to stay. no mechanical problems since i owned the car, bought from dealership about 3.5 years ago Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsStyling, performance, long trip cruising, feel and handling ConsUpholstery, seat comfort

Great Car — This car has been incredible. Fuel economy is adequate but cruises like its big brother the Crown Victoria. The ride is very smooth, nimble steering and performance makes this car a dream on the road. Braking is more than adequate and is very responsive in wet and dry conditions. The car feels tremendously safe and has a big car feel in a smaller car package. Visibility is adequate. The interior has many positive features along with a good stereo, heater and AC etc, The upholstery is the one drawback in my book. It causes the driver to feel warm and seems to radiate heat to the driver and passengers. The interior is well equipped and does not employ the use of rattle ridden plastics, but uses more fortified materials to avoid that cheap feel. Styling on the exterior is excellent. under the hood, it is easy to replace the air filter and perform your own maintenance as needed. The trunk provides a spacious cargo area providing room for a family to pack and travel for extended periods. Overall, the car is a gem and in my opinion, is a great fit for singles and medium size families. Great for the commuters as well as the weekend users. Buy it. You will not be disappointed. This Car Is So Wonderful, I Reccommend It Highly! — This car drives AMAZINGLY! I usually don't let anyone else drive it but when my friends do they immediately say how nice it drives. I have had this car for over a year and racked up almost 20,000 miles on it, driving it on long trips, and it has never let me down. It gets pretty good gas mileage, and it looks SO NICE. Sometimes I see my car in the parking lot and think daaang that is a good lookin automobile - and it is mine!!! (I have the beige/goldish color) the FEATURES are one of the best parts! plug your ipod right in with a usb cord and voice command it what to play. Blue TOoth connect your phone to play through your speakers, hands free without buying the lame looking bluetooth ear set ha ha. My niece is a big part of my life and her car seat fits in but it is kinda tight to have as a family car. The trunk space is legit. My friends don't mind squishing in the back, but if you want a super spacious car get a bigger one. Seriously this is the best car ever. I love it! Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsGood price, nice looks, seems pretty solid ConsWish the 4cyl had just a little more power

Over All A Very Good Mid Sized Sedan, Priced Well, And Built Well. — After looking at a lot of mid sized cars, I looked at the Fusion again, it was the first car I looked at in this buying experience. I have been buying a new car about every 4 years or so an the same old regulars were in the mix, accord, camary, even looked at the Hyundai sonata, but I was impressed by the Fusion, I had a lot of luck with my company cars that were all Fords, but the clincher was the following: a great price with 2010's coming out, very nice interior, comfortable, not to small, the car fells larger than it is, and Ford is still in business on their own, no bail out tax payer money, and I liked the idea of supporting them. Over all very satisfied with the car, gas mileage has been pretty good, and I do have a heavy foot. Very pleased with Ford and the dealership treated me like a knowledgeable person not just a another piece of bait on the hook(ie..Honda Dealer and Hyundai Dealer) Primary Use: Commuting to work

Stylish And Functional — I recently purchased this car and so far I am impressed. For a 4cyl it does get up rather nicely. I've had no issues with it. It's not a sports car, but this is a nice car to have. The interior is comfortable and everything is easy to reach. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Prosstyle, comfort, stereo is awesome, nice highway power, gas mileage Consslow off the line, tranny second guesses its choice in gear
25
Great Car — plenty of passing power on the highway but just begs for another gear in the tranny, ford did add a 6th gear in the 2010 model but for 09 the 5 speed is great on the highway but quite slow off the line loads of space and an incredibly smooth ride fuel economy is fantastic on the highway and still really good in the city but you have to remember this isnt a compact Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsI've never heard of anyone that has had one have any problems and have always loved them. ConsNothing

Pretty Great Car All Around And Great In Crappy Weather. — The inline 4 cyl has the acceleration of a v-6 and I have actually beaten a few cars with v-6s in them. No trouble with the quality of the building. I love the style of it, especially the inside. The seats are nice and comfortable. Gas mileage is great for not being a hybrid and the maintenance is cheap. But I do a lot of the maintenance myself. The car is always fun to drive and I've taken it on a few road trips across the country with my dad on one and friends on another. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Best 4 Door Sedan Under $30,000 — For a car under $30,000 its simply amazing. The SEL package is a must have gives the car a much richer feel and boost the value also. The Fusion is a great car because for a 4 door sedan it still has power and is sporty yet u can haul u and a bunch of friends to the movies without taking two cars. The Fusion SEL is amazing for the price u get some of everything luxury and sports etc. Primary Use: Commuting to work |
