Worth The Price — I like everything about this vehicle, size, car like handling, looks, 6 cylinder power, comfort, visibility, fridge/freezer, seat heaters, I wish it had cooled seas as well... DVD systems helps, 3rd row seats a must, navigation, safety, big wheels

It's All Good Here! — Greatest vehicle I've ever owned! Handles great and for the size of vehicle, good on gas. Quality is great, have owned the vehicle for over a year and have never had to take it back to the dealer for anything other than oil changes!

The 2009 Ford Flex — I dont like how the 3.5 liter engin can take off as fast as I want. the quality is amazing and youll never know that the seats were recycled materials from a soy base in the future ford cars will almost be edible if you belive that or not it eventualy be in all cars but starting with the worlds best. Ford drive one.

Highly Recommend For People Looking For A Comfortable Vehicle And Above Average Fuel Economy — Excellent quality, more than adequate performance, very room and comfortable. Comfort and roominess are it's high points. Above expected fuel economy. Very quiet and lots of creature comforts. Especially great second row comfort with adjustable seats and lots of legroom.

Fantastic!!! — Absolutely one of the best purchases I have ever made to date!!! Awesome performance, good fuel economy for it's size and the average cost of ownership is good. Family and friends love the ride quality, styling and performance as well. Huge storage and towing capacity! Seats are comfortable and versatile.

Haul The Clan In Limo-style! — 7.18/13 Update: We've hit 85,000 miles on the car. It is still a joy to drive, but is starting to show its use (and abuse). Quality throughout is still a positive, although we have had issues with weatherstripping on the doors. Looking to replace the passenger side the second time. This is not an expensive problem, but does affect the cabin noise. Minor transmission leak and AC doesn't blow as cold, but these are both normal with higher miles. Averages between 19-21 MPG, which is still acceptable for a 7-seater. The cargo space behind the 3rd row is somewhat lacking. Not much better or worse than most minivans. We picked up a cargo tray for road trips and it works fine (Vista roof inhibits a roof rack). We bought the 2nd one in town in 2009, and have since noticed several dozen. They're gaining popularity for a reason. Original Review: Granted, I've put about 1000 miles on it. Performance is better than anything I've test driven in the class. The car has style, QUALITY, and power. Our family needs a seven-seater, so the choices are limited. We could not get excited about another minivan (and have deduced from our history that they eat transmissions, no matter what brand). The gas mileage on our SEL AWD is only around 16.5, but we're still in the break in period. I'll try to report back. But as is, that's 1 mpg less than the best comparable family haulers. I think this car will go down as the cooler, stylish alternative for the minivan exodus. Families of 4 or less may opt for other crossovers, but for larger families, this is definitely it.

Pros

We looked at every car that could hold 7 people...this Flex won us over by a mile
Not only did it have everything we could possibly want, it drove like a luxury car...not
a truck....not a big step up....easy to get in and out of.   A beautiful car that suited our needs plus!

Cons

The only possible con I can think of is the length....We try to be very careful when parking in parking lots because spacing is often cramped.

Most Versatile Car We've Ever Had — We absolutely loved this car. Although we are downsizing right now, I'm sure we'll be purchasing another Flex in a few years. My husband and I both loved being able to drive several others when we traveled as a group from work out to lunch or to a conference. We opened up the back and used it to sleep in when we traveled with our motorcycles in tow....one time we even carried a motorcycle in the back! It goes everywhere. The luxury of a car and the versatility of a truck...but it is so pretty we ended up getting an old truck for our dirty jobs...didn't want to mess it up!

Great All Around Vehicle And Better Than Minivan. — Great back seats, even for tall people - great leg room. Fridge in the back is awesome and can hold a six pack or a quart of ice cream. Plenty of power for towing and have pulled boats with it and not a problem putting boats into the water or pulling them out.

Great Family Hauler And Road Trip Vehicle! — Awesome vehicle. Rides smooth, handles well. Accelerates nice, brakes are good. Can haul 6 people and cargo without problems. A little thirsty for gas, but not too bad. I love how smooth it is on the highway, also hardly any road noise in the cabin, even at high speeds. All in all, it's a great ride!

Pros

Very comfortable car with lots of thoughtful features. Good mileage. Great family car. Great sound / entertainment.

Cons

Cargo space. Last row seating. Better than some but could use a little more. Headrest leaves something to be desired.

Overall Great Family Car — We love our Flex so much that we're going to upgrade to a 2012. We love the sound, mileage, comfort and entertainment system. We would prefer more leg room in the last row and a little more cargo space in the back. Solid acceleration, handling and breaking. I feel safe in this car.
