2009 Ford Expedition EL King Ranch 4WD Trim Overview

At the top of the Expedition model lineup is the 2009 Ford Expedition EL King Ranch 4WD. It has the same powerful drivetrain as all the trims (a 5.4-liter, 310-horsepower V8 with a six-speed automatic transmission), all the luxury interior features of the King Ranch (including a 340-watt premium stereo, dual-zone air, and 10-way power, heated, and cooled captain’s chairs for driver and passenger) and all the same exterior stylings as the King Ranch (including 18-inch machined-aluminum wheels with the King Ranch logo on the center caps, rain-sensing wipers, and power-folding and -adjusting heated mirrors with memory, security approach lamps, and integrated turn signals). It also has the added size of all the EL trims (22.5 extra cubic feet of cargo space) and Ford’s Control Trac 4X4 system, which allows the driver to operate in high or low four-wheel-drive mode, automatic 4X4 mode in which the vehicle shifts traction between the wheels as needed, or a more fuel-efficient two-wheel-drive mode, all with the turn of a knob.
