My Opinions. — Good overall truck. Gets about 21 mpg highway with the little V8. The braking and handling are decent, just as any normal pickup. The build is probably a 8 out of 10. The coil spring suspension is nice for comfort, but horrible for towing or pulling due to "squat". The cost is good depending on what incentives are out, and how much is willing to be spent. The fun factor of it is about a 7. The truck does not have a whole hell of a lot of power, but that's the beauty of the gas mileage. This truck is not a workhorse. It is mainly for comfort. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Really Neat Truck! — Gosh, it's sooo fast! Brakes are good and handling is surprisingly excellent! Have it for 2 years now... no problems so far. Bold and aggressive appearance, very luxury interior. Stunning good gas mileage, I was really surprised. Had some mods done by now and that's what makes the truck even better! It's just so much fun, I'm really addicted to my R/T :) Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Outstanding — Best fullsize truck out there...hands down. I average 20-22 mpg while cruising at highway speed. This is the quietest most comfortable truck out there. I get compliments about it all the time. I wish it would sit slightly lower though. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Dodge Truck — Reliable but bad on gas. Roomy, seats 5 comfortably. Nice options. Lots of underfoot storage, dvd player, hard drive to hold all music and mp3s, xm satellite radio, very smooth ride even on long trips. No major issues mechanically, great! Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

Buy One — this is a great pickup i like it its red the lendery 5.7L hemi is good on gass and the brakes are no less. the fun facton is 10 outa 10. the truck get 28mpg and with an extened warranty cost litte. on the down side its not cheap to insure. the truck is awsome!!! 2009 Dodge Ram Crew Cab Laramie 1500 — Wow! What a truck! I drive these things at work all the time, and they are amazing! 5.7L HEMI, 390 hp, 407 lb-ft of torque. And it gets 26 mpg highway! I would buy one, but they are freakin' expensive. Thats the only thing I don't like. | ||

A Giant Leep Foward For Dodge — The only low in my book is the gas mileage. The new ram is so much better than the previous one and in my opinion much better than the competition. The new HEMI gives better mileage and the new look amazing. Go out and test drive it and you'll see. | ||

ProsAmazing 390 horse power hemi engine; Can floor most cars on take off. Extremely comfortable ride, and amazing handling. A great feature is the hill assist. As the engine loses power or speed going up hill, the computer takes over and boosts horse power to maintain speed and ascend up hill. ConsThe only con to the vehicle, as with any Ram is, the fuel economy. Although, for a truck it gets fairly good highway mileage, as for city driving ... Its like a hummer. I believe its do to the immense weight of the Hemi engine.
