Move Over Toyota, And Honda — My new 2009 Malibu LTZ is a joy to look at both inside and out. Beautifully designed and appointed. It has all the bells and whistles. From a performance standpoint it is smooth, solid, and quiet. The six speed transmission gives this car a lot of pep. You can feel and smell (yes smell) the quality of this car. GM and the Chevy engineers appear to have gotten dead serious about making the Malibu a very competative high quality mid size package. This car is the real deal. Most of my driving has been city with a few 30-50 mile highway trips. I've been averaging around 29.8 mpg since my March 18th purchase.

Its A Nice Car Not A Supreme One — its a nice car, i would say cheaper than most v6 its not as elegant as a camry but about its performance i would say its the same has a nice acceleration you cant expect to compit with an A4 or a charger ro something like that but with some extra money it will sure give you an adrenaline burst

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Love the car. Comfortable, handles great, runs smooth.

Cons

Cup Holders SUCK!! The ones in the front and back. Horrible. Cant fit two large cups in them at the same time.

Mali Mali Malibu :) — The 3.6 V6 Engine gives great performance. The car accelerates and brakes smoothly. Takes curves nice and smooth. Gas mileage is okay. Could be better. But its not horrible. It is very fun to drive especially during the summertime when its perfect to open the sunroof(which slides on top of the car for a more sporty look instead of inside of the roof like most cars).

Comfort, affordable, and reliable

Cons

Interior noise on certain road types with cheap tires. I bought a set of Michelins to solve that problem

Economical Style — I like everything about this LTZ Malibu. Style, efficiency, power, speed, and mobility. This car is everything a conservative buyer could hope for in a vehicle. The sound system, and NorthStar Navigation system are the cherries on the top. Who could ask for more?

Pros

The car is amazing for families, drives smooth, little to no road noise, comfortable, car to take on long trips, great for hauling people or things

Cons

gas mileage could b better, hardly any power, heavy, not a car for someone who is by themselves, or someone looking for performance

Great Styling Mixed With Practicality Make This A Perfect Family Car — This vehichle like i mentioned in my pros an cons, this is a perfect family car, for someone who hauls alot of people around or just wants a good point A to B car. If you are looking for performance or top notch handling or even amazing gas mileage, look else ware.

Its A Practical, Good Looking Car, Thats Fun To Drive. — Fuel economy is great, CarGurus is wrong on this one. I get 35+ on the highway with the 4cyl. This is one of the best cars I've owned. The interior is Quite stylish and practical. The back seats is plenty big for tall adults. The trunk is quite spacious (dont let people tell you the opening is too small, because its not that bad)

Nice Car — 50K+ miles so far. Maintenance has been good but not stellar. The radio antenna is very weak. The key fob wore out and cost $200 to replace. There is a small rattle in the suspension on bumpy roads. On the other side the gas mileage on the road has been great. Handling is good once I replaced the lousy hankook tires. The car is quiet and comfortable even over long hauls. I have driven all over the country and it performed well.

Wonderful Drive; Great Color; Very Smooth Drive And Handles Well. Great Buy For The Money — like it; great interior. fun to drive. don't like the light titanium interior. Inside of car is too bright. I wanted to buy an American car to help the industry, and to show Obama he can't kill the American car indistry

New Malibu — 2.4L Auto 4 Speed. Installed my sub so it sounds a lot better. Wish I would have to the bigger engine and 6speed auto trans. Have enjoyed it so far. Think about tinting the windows and will be getting better tires hopefully.

It Is A Nice Ride. — So far everything is perfect. It is a blast to drive and the acceleration is wonderful. Braking is good and the handling is aright have not had the chance to really test because of the snow but so far so good.
