Suzuki Grand Vitara — Performance - it's ok for a SUV, low end torque is good with smooth acceleration Build quality - good, no complaints so far Appearance - form the exterior , it looks better than most SUV's in the market, clean lines and well- balanced design without trying too hard to be noticed. The interior could be better, too much plastic but the instrument panel is clear and easy to read - controls are very intuitive to use Cost of ownership - too early to say yet, has to run in the car Fun factor - great , especially for taking my dogs out since my Maserati can't possibly accommodate them

Just Like A Toyota — It has great quality but not so when riding in the back on long trips. Has good performance, good brakes and it handles really well. It is very fun to drive although it can be uncomfortable in the back on long trips. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

ProsIt's a great car overall, with plenty of features and necessities. ConsIt does have some problems with it's tires, brakes and certain things. The tires cost lots of money when you have to get new ones. When you change your first set of brakes, the new ones squeal when you stop.

Awesome: Value For Money Is Very Attractive! — Full-time 4WD, Japan-made, automatic transmission, ESP, 170 horse-powered engine, high capacity, spare tyre on the back, modern exterior. Lack of some modern electronic features and NO DIESEL engine in the lineup is a big disadvantage of Suzuki comparing e.g. with Mazda BT50 car. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Love The Car...hate The Problems — Love the vehicle itself but has some major problems. Has definate light issues...had it in three times in the first six months to replace all the interior and 3 of the exterior lights. Tires are garbage...completely bald at 18,000 miles and Suzuki will do nothing about it. Bad customer service...very disappointed. Talked to several owners of the same vehicle and they have all had similar problems. | ||

Sikpazire! — about the engine there isnt much to say since it is a 2.0 Litre wich has a good 145 bhp but isnt sufficeint for the body when u really want to drive fast. but the appearence is really good both at in and out and the gas milleage doesn't bother u at all. generally it is a fun car to drive and it can get even better if u get the 2.7 Litre V6... | ||

Eften Puften — it could me more powerful, hundred and fourty horse power may not enough sometimes. perfect air conditioning, perfect sound system but not dvd, i have installed something else. inside of car is very big, more then older version. it is fun to drive it. continuously 4wd is giving the care more advantage | ||

Thought I Really Like The Suv, Can't Keep Back Tires. — We have not had good luck with the back tires of the vitara. They wear out at about 10000. we took it back to dealer and they told us to go after the tire company. Well we got new tires and the vitara wouldn't stay on the road, so back to dealer where they redid everything and try again. Now 10000 again and the back tires have no thread on them. Front ok, back gone. something in the wheel base? HELP Primary Use: Commuting to work |
