Excellent Vehicle For The Money — I was looking for a convertible to drive to have a little fun. Started looking at the eclipse spyder because it had a great look. I didn't want a full sized convertible but also didn't just want a 2 seater. This car was perfect. Fun to drive and everyone gives it a look. Feels like I am driving a 30 thousand dollar car but paid only 10k for a 2008 with 47,000 miles. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Will Cry When It Sells — This the best car I have ever owned. A pure pleasure...performance is outrageously fun, eye catcher. i alway find people checking it out when i am not around, saying its their dream car! Emotes The Speed And Feel Of A "drive By The Seat Of Your Pants" Experience... In Comfort. — The Eclipse Spyder GT is not the fastest car on the road or even in its class, but what prompts me to give it 5 stars in performance is that when driving it... you really feel like your driving a very fast sports car. In reality it's heavy, which has its advantages; it's much slower than its brethren Lancer with turbos etc., it has a miserable turning ratio; but these are all soon forgotten when one slips behind the wheel of a vehicle that has the stylings that always seem to offer the look of a brand new car; provide one with a ride of the wind in your face that every hardtop owner envys; the weight to give one a truely glued to the road feel; and the closeness to the ground that propels one to the feeling of rocketship performance and rumble of a bygone era. What it takes to make a car achive such an undenible feeling of power and handleing; joy and ecstasy... every time out testifies to the highest marks I can give. Too Much Noise — i like the perfomance and design.you will enjoy drving when the convertible top is open. when thetop is close, a lot of noises inside. too much squeaks worse than suv's. feeling like driving an old car. several times for repair but cannot resolve. shop even replace the back cover for the top but after while, the noise comes back. I will need to bring it back again for repair. I cannot stand the squeaky noises. it irritates me while driving. | ||

Dont Judge A Book By Its Cover — it looks faster then it is when you really open it up it aint all that great other then that i liked it, if your looking for a fun car with a great sound system in it then yeah its for you but myself i want to be able to win a few races while im at it | ||

Sporty But Practical — Great practical - minus the soft top. Fuel efficant and sporty to the max. Great acceleration for a 4 cyl, It has no rattles and a great sturdy top. The stock System is amazing. Fun car to drive - great road tripper. Love this car, it's even got car seat jacks just in case haha,. | ||

ProsExtremely well maintained. You will probably not find a better car for dependability. One owner. ConsStored during winter because it is not the best for winter driving. I have to have a damage disclosure from a Sept 2009 accident. (Vern Eide did an awesome job with repairs).

Great Value For The Money — This car has been treated like a child. Do not let the damage disclosure turn you away, it makes for a better price. This has been a fun, dependable car that I will really miss driving. I am purchasing an SUV, but if I could continue to maintain 2 vehicles I would definitely keep this one.
