Love My Hummer — love love love my Hummer......Only thing I can say negative is gas mileage about 14mpg...I can count on it and it is safe to price, love the comfort. of the leather and performance. Its built...I have only 24k miles and so far only changed oil , nothing else needed. Primary Use: Family transportation

Great Suv, However, 6 Cyl Would Make A Huge Difference — Great SUV. So easy to drive. Very comfotable and spacious.Could use slightly more power on hills with the 5 cyl.6 cyl would make a huge difference, however the H3 is a very nice SUV. Thank you GM. A quality SUV. Don't Ever Want To Drive Anything Else. — The H3 Alpha is just a fun vehicle to drive, the turning radius is amazing. Excellent acceleration and a lot of power. This vehicle is a gas hog about 12.5 miles a gallon. Comfortable vehicle to drive or ride. Feels safe and sturdy. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

H3 Alpha Adventure Package — This is a awesome suv. Very stable, safe and easy to drive. The draw back to this vehicle is the uninformed general public. If they understood the vehicle and its use and ability they would be better off. Better fuel economy than a Jeep grand cherokee as well as better re sale value and safer. | ||

ProsComfortable, looks great, handles like a car and gas MPG isn't terrible as compared to many of equal size and weight. ConsUnderpowered, however Hummer has released the Alpha and if you can afford the $40,000+ price tag, you will never want to let go of this H3.

Go Anywhere Do Anything Type Of Vehicle. — At first glance the H3 looks like it's older brother the H2, however there are noticeable differences. The H3 does not stand as tall and it doesn't use nearly as much gas either. Entering the H3 for the time I found myself to be amazed at how well the controls are in ease of access and the driveability is very easy. The base H3 does lack power for it's big bulky size, but it is the only thing I would put as a con. The Sunroof is amazingly huge and once again easy to operate. The 4 wheel drive function is easy to operate after a quick read of your owners manual, the functions (although 2 of them you may never use) include full0time $wd, $wd lock (60/40 power to wheels) and 4wd low lock (if you buried your ass in snow or mud). The H3 is perfect for the average suburban person or the outdoorsman, such as me. | ||

ProsVery comfortable, exhaust sounds awesome, I love the look of it, She has never had a problem with it that wasn't easily fixable. Everything is very sturdy and works awesome (heated seats, A/C, backup cam, etc.) ConsNot the best on gas mileage, but compared to an H2 or H1 it is pretty darn good!

Love It! — I would definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for something in its class. I have driven jeeps and loved them too, but compared to the sturdiness that the H3 had and the luxurious feel, I didn't like them near as much. The V8 alpha version is definitely worth the extra money as the v6 only gives 239 hp and its curb weight is some monstrous number. We took this car camping a few times and my favorite part of the H3 is that it is unstoppable in the dirt. Off-roading in it was a blast! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Stylish But Poor Gas Mileage — Great truck for the weekend in the back country. I would not recommend it for a daily driver due to the poor gas mileage. There is the cold air intake and throttle body spacer that can be installed that can give you 2-4 more miles to the gallon. I recommend to not install a roof cargo basket if you dont need it. The basket decreases your MPG. Since I live in the great communist state of Kommiefornia where they are forcing E85 fuel on everyone. There are conversion kits you can buy. Love It! — I like the color (bright orange) very much and the fact that it is a 5 speed. It needed the passenger seat repaired when purchased. The Hummer handles very well. Overall, it is a comfortable, fun vehicle to drive. Gas mileage is around 16 mpg and 14 around town Primary Use: Family transportation | ||
