2008 Hummer H3 Adventure Trim Overview

Hummers were designed for off-roading, and the 2008 Hummer H3 Adventure, though the smallest Hummer on the market, is the SUV best equipped for this activity.  Equipped with a 3.5-liter, 242-hp DOHC I5 that gets 242 lb-ft of torque, and a choice of standard 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic, the Adventure comes with four-wheel drive with four high and low range settings.  Unlike the other H3s, it comes standard with a 4:1 electronic transfer case, larger off-road tires, and a locking rear differential.  This is in addition to the skid plates and nine inches of ground clearance that pave the way for the 2008 H3 Adventure to tackle unpaved byways.

4-wheel disc and ABS brakes, traction and stability control, a tire monitor, automatic headlights, foglights, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and dual front airbags are also include.  Side curtain head airbags are new this year.  Inside the four-seater, you get cruise control, full power features, intermittent front and rear wipers, OnStar, a 6-CD changer with seven speakers, security system, compass and temp display, front power outlets, and keyless entry.  The cargo area holds up to 56 cubic feet, and a standard roof rack adds more space.  A trailer hitch can be added to tow 4500 pounds.  Other options include a sunroof, power front seats, navigation system, and chrome accents.  The Adventure is basically an option package itself that can be combined with the Luxury package.
