Ultimate Utility Sport/car Ever — This is a 2008 Honda Element Ex 4wd. I purchased this car in Oct. It features clamshell side and rear doors. The rear seats can be layed back then folded up onto either wall so the entire floor can be used, or you can take the rear seats out all together. The front seats can also fold flate with the rear seats and be used as a bed. There is a rear sunroof that pops open or comes out all together.Flooring is a rubber based material. I could go on for ever.

Pros

The whole side opens up.

Cons

It only seats 4.

Elements Pretty Much Rock — I wish it sat a few more people, but that would kinda defeat the purpose I guess. Its great w/kids, I can get my son in and out so easily. The back seat rides comfortably for short rides, but gets a bit uncomfortable for long distances. Overall, I love it!

Pros

Has a lot of energy, get up and go, for the size of the engine. Handles quite well. Fun to drive. Great radio. It's boxy look gives the car a beefy appearance. Reminded me of the 1969 Fiat 124 Wagon.

Cons

Road noise could be less. The seats could be more comfortable. Better storage design would be nice.

Zippy Ride — This car is a fun ride and makes yuppies feel young. Amazingly responsive for the size and shape of the car. We were much happier with the storage when we added an aftermarket console between the front seats. The All Wheel Drive gives the extra traction you want in rain and snow With 50K on it, I've been impressed with the minimal maintenance costs. However, be sure to watch the tires in the AWD and keep them rotated. Mine did not make 30K, most dissappointing. Overall, it's sad that it wasn't marketed better and therefore discontinued.

If You Don't Car About Power Then This Car Is It. — One hell of a quircky car but it does everything we need. has a lot of space and if it were to come in a v6 we would definetly get another one of those. Its amazing all that you can do with that car.

The Element Is Great! — I love everything about the inside of the car. All the seat configurations make hauling things easy. And the back seats are cool because it is like theater seating and you can see over the people in front and also have plenty of leg room.

A Wolf In Geek's Clothing — Great Utility vehicle for those who arent planning to drive to Kilomanjaro. Solid Fuel Economy, Amazing handling for a chassis thats 3000 lbs and as aerodynamically challenged as this. Headroom is awesome, as is rear passenger space. Can fit 4 6-footers in this baby with no complaints. Only knock I can think of isnt really a knock - The shape and design is not for everyone. It's truly a love it or hate it car.

Pros

The "utility" of the Element is awesome.  Just flip the rear seats up to the side and you've got 75 CU FT of cargo space.

Cons

If there is people sitting in the back seats, you have to open your door first, so they can open their door.  Only "counts" if you have more than two riding in the vehicle though :-)

Best Little S Utility V On The Road — I think the Element is the best of the "BOX" Utes (the others just tried to copy the ELMT) on the road. I personally like the 5 Spd trans over the Auto. Better MPG and control. The camping possibilities are outstanding. "They" even have a tent the Element can back into and leave while the tent stays in place.

Pros

This is my 2nd Element and it is a fun vehicle.   I chose this car over an SUV or station wagon because of its versatility, unique look and multi use potential.  It is hard to beat if you have an active life style, haul cargo or need a roomy vehicle with good head and leg space.

Cons

No cons noted other than slight road noise on freeways.

The Element Is An Amazing Vehicle With Loads Of Functionality. — I love this vehicle. Its unique looks & design make it functional and fun to operate. It's great in the mountains and at the seashore. Power is adequate when passing at higher altitudes and handling is quick and responsive. Stadium seating allows for good visibility for rear seated passengers which is important for those folks suffering from car sickness. The rear seats are simple to remove & install which allows for a smooth deck when loading cargo. No repairs have been required and scheduled maintenance is minimal. Since this is my 2nd Element I would not hesitate recommending it to a friend or relative.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

A Comfortable & Fun Car With Plenty Of Pzazz — This is my second Element...the vehicle has served my life style both when I was younger and into sport activities and also now as I've aged. It is great for hauling bags of feed, building materials, etc. Medical issues force sale.
