Excellent All Around Driver — This truck is excellent, huge amount of power and torque, great for towing large boats. With the dual exhuast it sounds excellent, I put it into auto shift when driving short distances and it shifts great no jumps or hiccups between gears.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Safe Truck — This truck is very secure and safe i have not heard any bad reviews about it but i woild like it to have head air bags but the handing feels very good the body loos very strong on safety child locks is very good because on the back seats you can put 3 seats well secure and all individual hooks help a lot

Extremely Clean Truck And Not Comparable With Newer Models — I like everything becasue it is very simple to fix and parts are very easy to find on the market and it rides very smooth GM always had been a durable product that anyone should doubt, this trucks are a classic pick up

Wish it had integrated bluetooth connectivity, but that wasn't available on this truck in 2008.

Love This Truck — You pay a premium for the style and features of the Denali trim line, but it's worth it. I've loved this truck since the day I got it and am still very happy with it. That's saying a lot since I'm a gadget guy and love the new features you can get on newer models. I have added cameras (front, back and sides), sound proofing (though it was already quiet), and an aftermarket bluetooth phone connection. The GMC Nav isn't the greatest, but it's handy if you don't want to use your smart phone.

Gmc Keeps Going — Great all around daily driver truck, great for towing, and hauling. Very powerful and fun to drive. Cost of ownership is not the best considering the cost of gas. This truck is fun to drive but can be challenging to park.

08 Gmc 1500 1/2 Ton 6" Fabtech Lift With 20 " Kmc Wheels And 35 " Toyo Open Country Tires — not my truck its my dad's, turns lots of heads good looks handles good, needs gearing doesn't quite keep up to my s10 right now, not to hard on gas, wish it was diesel so we can stack it. brought it down to nashville tennessee to get all the work done

Its A Great Truck — I love my truck. It has the power I need to pass or rolls along to save gas. It's goes from V-8 to V-4, so its great on gas. I love the on-star and in car phone. It has a great sound system, with Bose speakers. Leather light tan interior and brown on the outside. I has everything I could want. I have had a GMC the last 3 trucks I have owned and I wouldn't own anything else.

Cons

Gmc Sierra — this is a well built truck with near car quaility ride, great performance, braking and handling. the only thing I'm not fond of is the built in phone (the voice recognitiion is not good, for 2009 they went with bluetooth which I'd prefer) the back up sensor is a must for all trucks and SUV's mine has the back up sensor for 09 you can get a back up camera.

Best Truck On The Market — Great truck. I wish the bed was 6 feet but other than that great power and smooth ride. Like all factory vehicles i needed new tires at 30k. I really like that GMC went to rear drums and removed the rear pads and rotors
