Great Fun If You Enjoy American Muscle — Well what do you say about a car that has been around for 50 years, still has a fixed axel in the rear and plenty of muscle in the front. I love it!!! The acceleration is excellent and the breaking is ok. I had the handling improved to that is ok as well. It will never reach the level of a track car you must know. But it is all about emotions in this car. The build quality is not as good as a german car. A lot of plastik. But so far no major repairs. The cost of ownership is mainly tires and petrol. Of course the milage is not too great with a tuned 500 Hp motor. But one I start the engine and hear the sound I do not get the grin off my face. So is it fun? Hell yeah. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Buy One!!!! — I absolutely LOVE this car!!! The GT500 is the embodiment of the Neo-Muscle Car era, and Ford has really done itself proud with this one. The GT500 accelerates, handles and turns heads like no other Mustang I have ever owned. With everything you get in this package, for the price there is no better bagain out there. I highly suggest if you are a Blue Oval guy/gal pick one up. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Love My Shelby — The 08 Shelby is the most fun car I've ever had, at least since high school when any car was a blast. I removed the stripes to keep the looks understated. Have added many mods for power and handling, like many Shelby owners do. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

The Red Devil — There isn't anything to dislike. This thing is sex on wheels and it runs like the beast that you know it is. Acceleration is out of this world, along with handling, where else can you find a car that handles like this that also weighs 4720 lbs. My Babehhhh!!!!!!!!! — Beautiful car. Only has 11k and takes turns like a champ. Performance wise: JLT cold air, Borla Exhaust, and everything else is stock. Gt500=42,000. Cobra is outstanding on turns, burnouts are sick, wouldn't want to race this beautiful snake :D Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Great Fun To Drive, Extreme On Acceleration And Top Speed, Handling Not So Good, Power — lacks handling, but muscle cars are not made for handling and speed its more for power. the almost 6 litre supercharged ford GT engine supplies 500bhp to the drive system! its great fun to drive but fuel at 12mpg and just being what it is does not make it a practical car. would definately recommend for hiring for a day or two to enjoy driving with power but handling is not too good. |
