I Love My Car. — It has the compact car record at Nurburgring. It has been in the shop a couple times. It looks awesome. It get 30 MPG on the highway. It's fun to drive. I tend to randomly find myself flooring it. All in all, its a good car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Good Car To Have But Make Sure You Get At Least An Lt2 — This car is fun to drive and comes in awesome colors, mine is blue with a purple hue and a black interior! Although the car is cute, it is slow to accelerate and the interior is cheap plastics! I get 35mpg on the highway and 24mpg in the city but that is doing the speed limit or under. The car would be even better if it was a convertible! It is also very reliable!

Pros

Fun, easy on the wallet, great mpgs.  GET A MANUAL.

Cons

Cheapish dash.  Don't abuse it by punching buttons, one will probably fall out eventually.

Good — First of all, let it be known that I love my car. That being said, the worst thing about it is definitely the build quality of the dash and panels. The dash is mostly tough plastic, if I push firmly on a few places it will bend inwards and make a noise. The body panels are like most other cars, it feels like it can get dented pretty easily in some places (more the rear of the car) , and the spoiler feels like if I pulled hard enough it will just pop off the car. If I push on it it will rock/bend back and forth, though not too badly. With the bad stuff out of the way, we can move on to how fun this is to drive. Although it's a 4 cylinder, it still is pretty quick due to its low weight, and can accelerate respectably. Mine's also a manual transmission, another thing I love, which makes it even more fun to drive. Handling is pretty good, I love keeping it in a lower gear and going down twisty back roads, it can take turns pretty well (even at speed). For highway driving, it's still a good car, it gets 37mpg or more, doesn't shake at all at higher speeds, and doesn't rev too high in 5th (at 80mph in 5th gear, it's at 3000 rpm, redline is at 7000 if I remember correctly). Looks are all opinion, so I won't even bother telling you I like them. I've had the car for 3 years now, and the only maintenance problem it's had was a blown fuse which rendered the AC useless, but it was an easy fix. Overall I feel like this is a great car, especially for the $14,000ish base price, but too bad the horn is nothing close to masculine.

Excellent — Perfect condition, looks great, fun car, loaded with cruise control, cd exchanger, MP3 port, sport wheels. I would love to keep this car but moved to New York city for med school and there is nowhere to keep it in this city.

Cant Wait For My Next One — It is not the car for me. I am way to tall. It might be the car for some people. The radio does get pretty roudy that is about it. Nothing else to say about the chevy cobalt four door.

If You Want A Sporty Car, Good On Gas, That You Will Love And Your Friends Will Love, This Is It. — The Chevy Cobalt. Its shiney looks make it look expensive but really people buying this car brand new off the lot isnt worth it. Your better to go buy a used one of these for around 6-10 grand for a basic model and 16 grand at the most for a super charged one. At dealerships this car brand new sells for 21 grand when really you should only be paying 15 grand for it brand new for a base model. Other then the initial cost of the car it does save you money in your pocket when at the gas pumps. It was fuel meter telling you when its low on gas. Its cheap to fill up and doesn't gas munch. Low maintenance I have never had a mechanical problem with this car. i give it 5 stars for safety. It hugs the roads at high speeds, takes corners beautifully, its quiet, safe in winter to drive, always starts even when not plugged in for the night, it warms up fast,if you do get into a snow pile it usually can can its self out. It does get complemented everywhere it goes. Its a smooth quiet ride. Super fun to drive can give speed when needed and can go all day without a problem.

Its Got Its Nitche — Its a good commuter car. Perfect for everyday driving. Its a bit small and weak but it gets awesome gas millage. The looks are not bad for being what it is. Definitely good for general driving and it also handles pretty good in the winter.

Not Bad For 16g — Performance, very agile and responsive in the corners. 4 piston Brembos provide great stopping. The turbo spools and pulls the car to 60 in 5 seconds.. (not bad for front wheel drive).. short throw shifting is great.. i am never let down when i wanna go when i need to go.
