Pros

Smooth Operator. Good on gas. I wish it had a nav systen unless I dont know what im doing. No owners manual came with the car. Alot of car for the money. Powerful.

Cons

Only had it it 3 weeks its just under 59k miles. Has issues that I think are dealer related and can be easily addressed I hope.   Check engine light is on, heat is not blowing correctly from cabin, car shakes at 60 mph and faster

So Far At 3 Weeks In So Good — First time with a passat . Loving it so far. I was critizes for not getting a subaru or a nissan. I was told get ready for high maintenance costs and befriend a knowledgeable mechanic. But I love its smooth precision, ease on the road and savings on the gas, I use 89 grade. VW should be a little more customer friendly tho. My came did not come with a manual and they offered no help.

Comfortable, Spacious, Reliable — This was my first car as a teenager and I have to say you probablly cannot find a better car for someone that age. It has an incredible amount of space, awesome sound system, super comfortable seats, is pretty good on gas, and the car is fast (when put in sport mode) and yet still maintained a low insurance rate.

Passat — Car was very nice inside and out. Great speed with the 2.0 turbo and the inside was very roomy. it was silver with black interior and blacked out windows like all of my cars have been. cars always look better with tint.

Excellent Performance And Great On Gass — This car is a solid choice for those that want a great car that returns solid gas mileage. Performance is average for the its class (0-60 - in under 7 seconds) -- but gas mileage is where this car really shines, mpg in the high twenties/low thirties. The car is fun to drive as well and makes a perfect commuter car into Manhattan.

Pros

Sharp looking car.  Nice sun roof.  Handles very well and is fun to drive.  I like that I can easily place things on the roof rack and get them down.  Great for a car topper.

Cons

The a/c has never been spectacular.  I have to put high grade fuel in it, so even though it gets good mileage, it costs a lot to fill up.

Definitely Worth The Money And Fun To Drive — This is a great little family car for people who need more space but still want to feel and look young. Great lighting in the car -- sometimes too much light. Super pick-up and control. Lots of rear cargo space. Nice stereo system with easy buttons to operate it on the steering wheel. I have never had to spend any real money on this car. It is very, very safe. I have never driven a car for 7 years, so I guess that just about says it all!

Great Car Love The Wolfsberg Edt. Package — THis car has a great body style and interior most notably the Wolfsberg edt. The 2.0 turbo give the car a speedy feel from 4-cylinder engine and the split transmission ups the performance appeal as well. This car handles great! glued to the road and deep seats without sacrificing visibility.

Good Car — Comfortable, nice handling, economic, good quality, big, good seats. Ok interior styling, exterior styling a little boring. Has the old, noisy diesel engine. Selling it spring 2010, trading it for most likely a 2007 Audi A6 2,7tdi Quattro Tiptronic or maybe an A6 Allroad.

B6 Passat Wagon Is The Whole Package — Best car I've ever had. Gobs of power, handles great particularly for a car its size. The 6 speed manual with the 2.0T MAKES this car. So many nice touches that make you think the designers thought of everything. Only dislike is the electronic parking brake.

Awesome! — I Love this car! It's expensive on the gas, but boy it's luxurious to drive! Nice and fast, easy to handle. Lots of visibilty. Seat heaters are going to be great this winter. It should perform well in the snow!
