Suzy's Zuki! — I purchased this vehicle to transport my massage therapy equipment or would still have the Z3. Extremely good value, you get a lot of car for your money! I enjoy driving this vehicle, it's peppy, responsive and predictable. I hydroplaned a couple of times and it's electronic control recovered for me. Nearly got T-Boned one day, but we squeaked out of it due to the ABS brakes, all the other safety equipment AND my ninja-like reflexes! I think it's a tough looking car, even standing still. Gets about 20mpg loaded down with all my equipment. Only one problem since purchased-roof leak at antenna on roof above dome light. Having trouble making it to the dealership, also having trouble bringing myself to gooping up a car with silicone when I know the gasket just needs to be tightened or replaced! Not crazy about the fold-up rear-seats that flop around & prevent the front seats from moving freely or the uber cheezy cargo cover.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Overall A Great Fun Ride — Overall a great car. It has a 2.0L engine with 150hp. As far as performance is concerned, although you can't call it a slow car, it certainly could have more power. Sometimes when you accelerate, you get the feeling that the car isn't as fast as you would like it to be. However, its handling is very good and easy and this makes driving pretty damn enjoyable. Finally, as a pure off-road vehicle, the Suzuki Grand Vitara is absolutely a beast off-road. Mud, sand, rock, it can handle it. Its build quality is excellent. The materials and the interior give you the impression that this is a very expensive car. It hasn't ever needed any repairs and still feels as new. On the outside, the Suzuki Grand Vitara has a stunning look. Its front is aggressive and sublte, and its back, although it isn't anything much, still looks very damn good. At its price, it's definitely a great choice.

My Grand Vitara — I love this little SUV. It gets decent mileage and has all the room we need. We compared this to the Ford Escape and the Chevrolet Equinox and ultimately chose the Suzuki because it has more bang for the buck. I love the luxury features that it came with and my only gripe is that they don't offer a 2hi/4hi/4lo transfer case it is either 2 wheel drive (rear at least) or 4x4 with 4hi/4lo transfer case.

Great Family Runabout — Very comfortable, good looking car. Great for moving around town in. A/C is great and there is adequate room for the groceries. The fact that it is underpowered helps my wife stay out of trouble ;) Great value for money.
