2007 Saturn Sky — So hey, it's not a SuperCar, but it's is sooo much fun to drive. Acceleration 0-60 is great and it's good in the twisties. You sit down in the car, so even with the top down you don't feel overly exposed. True, with the top down you have nearly 0 truck space, but hey, I don't drive this to the grocery store. I have a station wagon for that! With the top up, you have a decent amount of room. My husband and I took it on a 5 day trip out to NC last summer. We had to be thoughtful in our packing, but we made it. Just had to run out and back with the top up on the interstate. Mine is running at high-20's in MPG; sometimes hitting 30 if doing some interstate driving.

2007 Sky Redline — 0-60 in 5.5 seconds top speed 144 Mph 29 mpg... if you keep your foot out of it 11 mpg... if you drive it the way it wants to be driven uses Premium but can use regular, just cuts the power Horrific ride quality with the Sport suspension package Unbelievable good handling with the Sport suspension package Horrible stereo (get the Monsoon) Very limited trunk space Engine note is pretty boring (but the BOV drives the Honda boys into a frenzy) pretty rad looking manually operated top if you get an 07 make sure the high-pressure fuel pump has been replaced with an 08s or better they are going for a song these days

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

So Much Fun, You Will Hate Rainy Days. — This is my daily driver. Anyone who says it cannot be used as a daily driver is foolish. Considering it gets great gas mileage it SHOULD be used as a daily driver. The trunk is small, but I can still fit almost a months worth of groceries in it and still put the top down. Whoever has problems with trunk space should learn how to pack better.

Phenomenal — It looks good. Fair power. Just plain fun to drive around. Very customizable. Great eye catcher. Pretty good fuel economy. Everyone wants to drive it. The lambo doors leave everyone staring as you fill it up with gas for about 40 dollars a tank lasting about a week and a half to two and a half weeks.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros

The pros are long..great styling, a classy little car that turns heads wherever you go- it stands out from its competitors BMW, Miata, Honda S2000.  It has great handling and soo much fun to drive. Reliable and low maintanence to own, never had one problem with it. Great mpg for a roadster too- I average 26.5, even around town! Has suitable head and leg room for me and I am 6' 1. "Cockpit" is pretty quiet, not much road noise, leather bucket seats are comfortable to ride in for several hours. I took a long distance road trip and was comfortable for 5 hrs.

Cons

The cons...there isnt many, in my opinion. The trunk is small but its a roadster not a family sedan. The reviews say the Sky has a "messy top" because you have to manually put it down but it's very easy and not a problem at all. Seems more like a classic roadster to me in the respect. There are no side air bags just front. There is one blind spot over drivers left shoulder, but has never been a problem for me.

Why The Sky Is Just Plain Awesome! — I bought this car 3 yrs ago and it has been so much fun to drive and own. It turns heads wherever you go and impresses those who have never seen it before. They only made approx 10k of these cars a year for three yrs so there arent many around, which makes them stand out even more. Saturn, being a division of GM made it easy to still get parts and be very reliable. It has great power-even the base model, it accelerates well and corners like its on rails. Braking is excellent. Good amount of torch too. I always felt safe driving in it, but I drove it very defensively-Great second car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

One Of A Kind — I purchased the car as part of the pre-release and it is one of the first ever Skys made. Mine is number 2308. It does not mean much to some, but if you are a car guy or girl the first production runs of a model are usually the ones most sort after as a collectable. In 2006 they released 10k base models and 1.5k Red line. I have enjoyed the car for many years, the handling and pleasure of driving the car is something you must experience. It's a shame GM dropped the line, it was the Corvette for us folks with beer budget wallets and champagne taste :). Even Road and Track expressed how delighted they were with the look, feel and drive of the car. Most of the drives I took the car on where long drives on country roads. It was a great way to unwind from a hectic work week. Lot’s of companies out there with bolt on toys for the Sky , but I kept mine stock. There is a company that will stuff an LS1 motor and whole new drive train if you you desire a rocket instead of a roadster. For the 2.4 liter none turbo there are a few companies that created a Hemi with 3 chip set stages (For those who can’t wait for a turbo to spin up). All in All great car that ended production too soon. Isn’t that the problem with GM , make something good and then remove it. Why did they ever kill the Camaro? That’s right they put it on the Impala platform to save money

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Great Cure For The Mid-life Crisis — Sad it is no longer in production GM finally made a fun, beautiful and affordable car. To this very day I still get stopped and asked "What is that" and then I hear "What a beautiful and unique car”. My mid-life crisis is over and time to add more money to college funds

Great Convertible — I love my Sky for summer driving with the top down. Have had it for over 4 years now and just turned 13,000 miles. Need to drive it more often. Handles well and is a fun car to drive. Just joined the Michigan Kappa Club.

Cons

No trunk space, small interior but it's a 2-seater!!

The Perfect Convertible — I knew I wanted this car as soon as I saw it. It's the best looking car I've seen in a while, and even better, it's affordable. It's made in the USA and the warranty/parts are typically cheaper than those made overseas. It gets about 25mpg, rides great, has a wide wheelbase so it handles very well. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a convertible!

Great Looks, Cheap Drop Top, Great Suspension, Super Sexy

Cons

No Storage Space, Old people can't get into them, More of a toy than Daily Driver

Best Looking Convertible Under $40,000 And Sexier Than Many Over $75,000! — This car was an awesome toy...but that is all you can buy it for, a toy! It is pretty much useless as a daily driver. It was super fun and handled like a dream. Spend the extra money and get the Redline model...I was not happy with the power of mine and spent thousands making it faster.
