Superb — I will let you know. Very quite. Acceleration is great. Braking is excellant. I fell very safe in this car and in control. Car does use more gas than its predecessor the s 500 class, but that is due to the bigger engine.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

The look of this car is beyond beautiful/classy, it is prestiges. It is a very comfortable ride. I feel like I'm gliding every time i drive it. The suspension is great. I didn't notice any blind spots. I only took it to the shop for an oil change. The cost was fair but could have been better.
This cars acceleration is fast and it feels like you are getting shot out of a slingshot. The brake is amazing and reliable. I was in a few moments where i had to press down hard and they were good. The handling is amazing and reliable. It is very nice and smooth and is all about class. I felt safe driving this car because i know that this is Mercedes and i trust them for there german engineering. I feel like I'm in control when i am driving it. This car is a blast to drive.

Cons

The gas was expensive because i didn't really care for saving gas so i wouldn't keep the rmp low. Taking it to a mechanic is going to cost you if you go to the wrong one.

S65 — 604hp , 738 lb Torque, Mean machine who means business. When she is on road it says don't get in my way. Its handles excellently on turns. Seats literally grabs me as I turn. Very expensive when she goes to the shop.

Mercades S500 — This is an amazing car! Mercades really did a great job with this car. If you like space, then this is the car for you. I am 5 11 and i can fully outstrech my legs in the back of the car. And just look at the interior and the exterior. its gorgeous!...yes this car is expensive. But it is SOO worth it

Cons

Size, Still too much plastic (relative to competitors)

Return Of The King — After seven years of Taurus like styling, the 'real' Mercedes S-class has returned. It is a solid performer, pumping out nearly as much horsepower as the W140 600 V12 and offering dynamic handling with supple ride. With over 380 hp and nearly 400 lbs ft torque it can easliy keep up with its competitors--all the while returning up to 28 mpg on the highway. I average 23 mpg including in town driving. Technology abounds with Nightvision and rear back up camera and park assist.

Pros

My Mercedes is the most beautiful car ever built.  I enjoyed the ride. It is a large car that can corner at 60 miles a hour like its a sport car. It did not fish tale and picked up speed immediately,  I enjoyed getting on the freeway since that is the only time I can feel and here my engine roar and for a brief second enjoy that powerful engine The Car moves in traffic effortlessly and I am amazed at how it brakes.  You can trust this car with your family

Cons

This car is expensive to own and maintain.  However I have owned the car since 2008 and I have not had a problem.  It has never been broken or caused me any grief I do have mirrors that allow me to see more clearly and make better driving judgements

The Best Car I Have Owned Is A Mercedes 550 S 2007 — This Mercedes is the most beautiful car ever built. I enjoyed its ride. It is a large car that has a rolling motion instead of up and down. It can corner at 60 miles a hour like a sport car. I will not fish tale, but will take all you can give. I enjoyed getting on the freeway and unleashing all that power and listening to the roar of the engine. I have owned the vehicle since 2008 and it has never been in the shop. I did not experience any repair cost. Since I only drove the car on weeks I was unconcern about gas mileage because, I expected it. On the other hand the side mirrors where too small and necessitated me purchasing cone mirrors. In summation this car can perform, its expensive to maintain, but it is a joy to drive.

Pros

Powerful, classy, beautiful, a technological marvel
Dynamic massage seats.  Wow!
Navigation
Satellite radio
Oozes so much luxury, you'll almost drown in it

Cons

Mileage is lower since it's a heavy, powerful car
Unless you know a mechanic, Mercedes isn't known for cheap maintenance/repairs
Depreciation (for the seller, but that's a huge pro for a buyer of a used one)

Like Driving Around In Your Own First Class Concert Hall — Amazing amount of luxury and technology. So silky smooth and comfortable, it's an amazing road-trip machine as well as just getting around town in style. The heated/cooled massage seats and dynamic bolsters are incredible. Rear seats are so cavernous, you could get lost in them. But good thing it also has nav, so you can find your way home. Looks great, very solidly built and engineered vehicle. Great performance for a 2 ton car. Definitely felt safe, and it was surprisingly fun to drive despite the size and weight.

Excellent Car; It Is The Best Car I Had So Far Among The 15 Cars. — Lots of room in the front and the back seats. Reilable car. Best of all it only requires service once a year or every 10K miles. Large fuel tank; so you are not forced to stop frequently for gas. Great overall Looks.

Superior Car — This car is top notch, the big daddy of them all, the best of the best in its segment. This car has superior ride, luxury amenities, best looks (debatable but I think it looks the best) over the Lexus LS and the BMW 7 series. The S class is noticeably more expensive but you get what you pay for and you pay to be the one on the top.

Pros

Luxury car that looks great.

Cons

Piece of crap for quality. At 50k, I had to replace the ball joints , which is the upper and lower control arms. Left and right side needed to be replace because my car sound like an old 1968 squeaking station wagon. Also, I have had electrical issues. My command center goes out without warning . Also, this 100k car does not have an iPod connection nor satellite connection. Heck, my friends 2004 Kia has these basic features as standard. I need to spend $700 for an iPod connection on an S550 mercedes. Between the 1,000 mth payment and the expensive repairs, make sure your bank account is stacked. Oh, I forgot, my passenger seat squeaks and rattles, which is a known issue with these cars. What a bad investment for a piece of crap. My Pontiac grand am has 280k miles and other than oil changes, a timing belt at 150k miles, that car has been flawless.

An Expensive Piece Of Junk — A good looking piece of junk that Mercedes should be a shame of themselves for ripping off the public with. They should test these cars thoroughly before releasing them with the 100k price tag. Damn car stays in the shop more than in my garage.
