Cons

Getting in and out of the the car is the hardest part

This Car Is Awesome For Performance. A Little Tougher For Day-to-day. — The handling and braking of this car is incredible. The acceleration is nice but isn't the fastest off the line, despite how light it is. The look of this car is sexy, plain and simple. Very gorgeous lines and curves, and it is definitely an attention getter. The reliability of the car is good. However there are lots of tiny little problems that are irritations are somewhat frequent. In addition, This is a somewhat expensive car to maintain. Replacing high performance tires and brakes are a common thing for this car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Uncomprimised performance

Cons

You're too tall, too fat or too unwilling to compromse for the ultimated driving experience

The Best Of All Worlds — There is no other car on the planet (ok, very few) that rivals the performance of the Lotus Exige for the price. Lightweight body, superb power to weight ratio and legendary Lotus handling makes for a sublime driving experience. For the same price as a Ferrari F430, you can have this for weekends, a Nissan GT-R for commuting and still have money left to buy a Land Rover LR3 for grocery/home depot runs. Bulletproof engine sourced from Toyota. Not to mention low operating costs for daily driver reliability. And you get 30MPG. Performance, durability, savings and environmental responsibility. Can't say that with other bigger sportscars.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

4 Stars — When people ask me why I bought this car, I turn the question around and ask "Why not?" Fun to drive. Why not have fun in your life? Surprisingly economical to own, maintain and fill-up. The alternative which is probably a Porsche Cayman S are a dime a dozen, around here.

I Love This Car, It's Beautiful, Fast And Handles Amazingly, What More Can You Want? — Performance - What can I say, it's an amazing car, fast and amazing on corners, it sticks like glue. Build Quality - No repairs needed as yet, although there is an annoying squeak somewhere behind the drivers seat. Appearance - Stunning a real head turner. Inside is basic but all you need in a car built for seriously good road handling. Cost of Ownership - I've heard you can get 30mpg however I've never driven that conservatively!! That's not what you buy this car for! Fun Factor - 100%, leaves you with a smile on your face for hours especially if you take it on the track!

Cons

Best for track days or a Sunday blast

2007 Lotus Exige — There's something very special about Lotus. I think it's because the cars still have the same spirit originally created by Colin Chapman. The exige is not the fastest car that I have driven, but the fun factor is second to none. It feels like you're driving a race car on the road!

Pros

Great handling and acceleration, perfect for weekend racing

Cons

Getiing in and out is a bit of a mission, no Visibility in the rear view mirror

My Weekend Toy — It's Light and changes direction at a flick of the steering wheel. 220 Horse power 1.8 Liter engine and at 700 Kilograms weigh make this baby a fast little machine. It's perfect for playing on a race track and economical enough to use as a town car. It's so nimble that you can actually play with it on a Karting track

Legal Go Kart — Requires precision. The G-Forces are phenomenal. Could use a faster engine. Can't wait for the new 300hp Lotus
