2007 Land Rover Range Rover Trims

Avg. Price: $24,605

The 2007 Range Rover has been furnished with several new amenities, and a few performance-oriented features are also added. Interior upgrades include a revised dash layout, new cupholders, an extra glove box, a reorganized center stack and console, and a driver's side knee airbag. The 4WD system is now more flexible, and the rear differential setup has also been improved.

The HSE model is the Range Rover's entry point, but it still does not come anywhere near cheap. This model includes xenon headlamps, air suspension, leather leathers, abundant wood and metal trim, power front seats, a premium Harmon-Kardon 14-speaker audio system, 19 inch wheels, and a navigation system with a back up camera and rear parking sensors.

The HSE houses a 4.4 liter V-8, which generates 305 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. The bulky 5698 lb. HSE can haul an extra 7716 pounds in tow. A six speed automatic with a manual shift gate is the only transmission option, and the EPA estimate is 14/19 mpg.

For 2007, both Range Rover models receive a refinished interior, and more features and cargo space have been added. The updated cabin is differentiated by new cup holders, a more ergonomic dash design, and a quieter climate control system.

While the Range Rover may have a few so-called competitors, like the Lexus LX 470, few SUVs will get anywhere near it in price. For an extra $15000, potential Range Rover HSE buyers can upgrade to the Supercharged version.

The Supercharged Range Rover offers much more power, but Land Rover also adds some features to match the price hike. This model includes 20-inch wheels, ventilated seats with additional power functions, and higher quality leather. Add those items to every automotive amenity you can imagine, and you'll have the Range Rover Supercharged's standard features list.

A supercharged 4.2 liter variation of the HSE's V-8 can be found under the hood, supplying 400 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Gas mileage and towing capacity are about the same here. All Rovers use a six speed automatic transmission to drive all four wheels.
