Great, All-around Car — I have owned this car for 2-years and used as a secondary vehicle for commute to work (30 mi). I have no issues/concerns and have been completely satisfied. I would recommend the Fusion to anyone and plan to buy another in the future.

Pros

Reliable, starts every single time with no problems. Five-passenger sedan that offers distinctive styling thats not overpriced. Good gas mileage and runs great.

Cons

FWD and cloth seats, not the SEL with leather seats and AWD.

Reliable With Lots Of Interior Room — I chose the Ford Fusion because of the stylish look. I did research through the Consumber Guide which helped me make my decision. I primarily use this vehicle going to and from work. I drive about 9K a year and maybe one long distance trips since I have owned the car. I enjoy the fact that this car is reliable and the engine is smooth. The one thing that I dont like about it is that its FWD and not AWD. If I had to change or improve this vehicle, I would add AWD and leather seats or just the SEL package.

The Best Purchase I've Ever Made — the car is fast, handles like a dream...you forget its a sedan, looks good, and has a very comfortable ride (2007)....and after 4 years, my thoughts don't change, it is a fast car when compared to the direct competition, its comfortable yet pretty sporty and fun to drive, I did Ford's racing performance upgrades to it and it just made it better without sacrificing comfort....Ford nailed it with this one.

Will No Longer Recommend The Fusion To Others — When I bought (paid cash) my v4 2007 fusion sel I loved it -The car has only 26,000 and 2 months ago it started over heating. 2 days later I took it into my dealership and was told it needed a new engine! They ordered and put the new engine in within 5 days. Since then I've had to take it in 3 times to have the check engine light re-set, it now takes at least 15 minutes to get heat out of it and my gas mileage went from 28 mpg in town down to 17 mpg. I took it back and the dealership said it's getting 22 mpg. My on board computer says 17.5 and my own math puts the mpg at 17. However even at 22 mpg it's not acceptable. When I bought my Fusion Ford advertised 28mpg which is what I was getting. Now they say 22 mpg is the average. I would not have bought a car with such poor mileage! I was already getting 22 mpg out of my perfectly good 1997 Concord. Why would my mpg change with the new engine and why has Ford lowered their estimated fuel usage from 28 to 22? Needless to say I am screwed because I can't prove I was getting 28 mpg before they had to put a new engine in my not even 3 year old car. I am so angry I will never buy from Ford again.

Good Car For A Student Or A Small Family, Quality Built, Very Solid And Dependable. — I like the overall appearance as compared to any Toyota or Honda or? Very comfortable to drive and ride in, very large trunk and back seat a plus! Moves pretty quickly for a 4 cyl and should get about 28mpg we'll see. Handling is right on, i feel the road but not too much to annoy but just enough to know i'm in control. Really like to larger outside mirrors, great view. Overall a great buy and would recommend.

updated look, smooth, quiet, responsive

Cons

gas mileage is still around 11.5 litres per 100 km but a lot of short driving lately

Fusion Power! — Very happy with this car. AWD already great and haven't been through on Ontario winter yet with it. Moonroof option is nice. Car rides very smooth, quiet and performs well. Smart looking and fund to drive for a four door sedan.
