2007 Chevrolet Uplander Overview
The 2007 Chevrolet Uplander bills itself as the "Family Friendly Sports Van," and its styling definitely mirrors its marketing focus. This full sized minivan looks more like a sporty SUV when it comes to exterior touches like its long hoodline, sleek grille, roofrack, and squared back.
Inside the cabin, though, the 2007 Uplander is as roomy as you'd expect from a family minivan. The regular-wheelbase models have a total volume of 120.1 cubic feet; the extended-wheelbase versions offer 136.5 cubic feet of space.
Four trims are offered for the '07 Uplander: the entry-level LS is available in both regular and extended-wheelbase bodystyles, while the 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT Entertainer models are offered in extended-wheelbase versions only.
Only one engine is offered, a 3.9 liter V6 that delivers 240 horsepower with an estimated EPA mileage of 18 city/25 highway. However, buyers do have the option of choosing this engine in a FlexFuel version, which has the ability to run on E85 (85% ethanol, 15% gasoline) fuel as well as conventional gas.
