Chevy Needs A Mini Fighter, This Is Not It. — The car has comfortable seats and up-to-date amenities, including power windows, and steering wheel radio controls, but the engine is completely underpowered, especially since the gas mileage isn't anything amazing. Wind noise at higher speeds can be quite annoying at times & the controls have a bit of a plastic look to them. Considering I had the choice between this car and a Cobalt, I think I made a bad choice.

Pros

good gas mileage

Cons

too many problems, I really liked when the driver's side wiper stopped working in the middle of a rain storm while I was on a road I'd never been on before!

Cute, But A Lemon — I had this Aveo for 8 months and it was in the repair shop on average of about once a month for stupid little things. It wouldn't have been as big a deal to have the little warranty things fixed all the time, but I had waited 3 months just to receive the car after being told it would take 4-6 weeks from when I ordered it. When I got rid of it, it had three undiagnosed noises.

Pros

Great gas mileage; great city car - fits in almost any parking space; good size for commuting

Cons

Expensive parts; increased repairs with age; not great in the snow; seats can be uncomfortable on long trips (2+ hours)

Good Car For Point A To Point B — No frills on this car - I use it solely for commuting and getting where I need to go. It does that just fine, as long as the roads aren't extremely snowy. It does have FWD so it can function in small amounts of snow...but I keep a shovel and container of salt in my trunk in the winter, and don't drive anywhere the plow trucks haven't been. In terms of MPG, it's great. I drive 50+ miles a day, 5 days a week, and usually only have to fill up once a week (10 gallon tank). I've had this car for 4 years (bought used in 2010), and I am finding that as the car ages, it seems to have more frequent issues. This model/year has known issues with the throttle position sensor, which I've had replaced twice in a 2-year period. This is a costly repair (~$450+) because the entire throttle body needs to be replaced, not just the sensor. I just brought it in today for a rotted exhaust flange and possible muffler replacement (~$500+). Overall, I would say that this is a pretty good car if you live in the city, don't mind driving a dorky-looking car, and need a fuel-efficient way to get to work (other than a bike). Make sure to save up for potentially pricey repairs around the 75k mile mark.

Do It! — I love how its small and you can weave in and out of traffic like its nothing, I also love how you can easily find a parking space because it is so tiny. I dislike how its kind of a rough ride at times though

Ratty Built And Cheap Components — Likes $35 10 gallon tank fill-up / no breakdowns - if you want small and cheap Viola!! Dislike - everything else including uncomfortable seats, tinny feel and uncomfortable seats when driving for 45 minutes or more. Overall - bad car from a crappy company!! There!!

Pros

Fun to drive. Great on gas.

Cons

The sound system needs an upgrade, that would definitely improve the driving experience.

Roomy Hatchback — Great drive-ability, handles and accelerates with ease and comfort. I feel safe and in control in this sporty hatchback. Sleek style of its own, I love the look of the front head lights and rear tail lights. The price alone was enough to make me excited.

Not Exactly A Car That I Will Reccomend As It Has High Maintenance Costs. — Replaced the followings: - Steel braided hose - Super light weight sports rims - Higher profile tyres - Coilovers - Strutbars - 3rd party brakes - Smaller steering wheel - Open pod for acceleration high end Squeaks a little. Interior and exterior not as durable. Safe car to drive with.

Cons

If you are cheap.

Perfect Dream Machine — good acceleration, excellent breaking, top performance, handling is superb. build quality is awsome, no repairs till date. appearance is just like it should be. this is how a perfect car looks like. interior is superb and not crapy like maruti. mileage is around 14. maintenane is cheap and hardly needed.

Pros

its cheap & drives well

Cons

bad protection

25

Great For Experienced Drivers Who Know How To Avoid Crashes — it drives perfect. its small & not very durable. i hav not yet been in a wreck but depending on where & how i get i might not live. i think my car is cute. it costs about $20-25 to fill the tank up depends on how much gas is. its lightweight so a little tap on the accelerater goes a long way.
