A Great Car To Keep. — One of the most comfortable cars I have ever had. It handles well and is a joy to drive. MPG is acceptable for the size and weight of car you get. It looks Great as well and has amenities galore.

2006 Toyota Avalon — I just purchased the vehicle but already I can tell it has power and very good gas mileage. I don't have much to say right now regarding it but stay tuned I will inform you as information arrives. So far it has power, great gas milage and over the few days I have had it many compliments. And because of this site and others I got the car for a steal :-)

Excellent And Impressive To Have — Car accelerates smoothly. Brakes are slightly softer for a luxury feel. Always felt safe driving this car with family and very fun to drive. Interior is also very nice with nice leather seats and wood grain dashboard including door handles.

Pros

I am a former S-class Mercedes driver.  Got tired of high prices and maintenance.  The Avalon has been amazing.  It has great response and the largest back seat you've ever seen.  It has been maintenance free.  I'll probably buy another.

Cons

Front seats are a little uncomfortable (hard) on trips.  That is about the only negative.  Oh, the navigation in 2006 was not what it is today.

Wonderful Car — Purchased it for interior spacae, especially for passengers in the back seat. Didn't anticipate how much zip it has, and how much I would enjoy the front-wheel drive. Most of all, like some many Toyota's, the cost of ownership has been very low: oil changes and a new set of tires. I have 80,000 miles on the car and feel no urgency to replace it. Every once in a while an expensive import catches my eye - but then I drive the Avalon and realize what a good car it has been.

Pros

Reliability and cost to upkeep has been very pleasant.  Smooth ride. Nice room for family in back...and lots of room in trunk.

Cons

Speaker sound is good, especially with the 6 CD player but would like to play my Ipod on it.

Nice 2006 Toyota Avalon With Low Mileage — This is a good car for a family or for local commute. The leather interior and front seats are very comfortable. Air Conditioner works great....cooling the Avalon down quickly. Has been maintained according to the Toyota Maintenance Plan, including the 75,000 Service Call.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

6 Clock does not keep correct time
7 Radio has many dead spots.

Cons

I hate the "klunk" in the front end when I turn the wheels.
I hate the lever that holds the steering wheel to drop down when driving causing the column to drop. Also it's a knee banger.

I Won't Buy Another Toyota — There have been a number of small problems that should not have happened. !. Had to replace brake pads at28.000 miles 2Center arm rest cover split at 30,000 miles. 3Had to replace a front tire at 3500 miles because of dry rot and over inflation by dealer.( Dealer denied the latter, however, they were the only ones to touch the car for any type of service.) 4A/C oil lone broke 5. Battery gave out at 11 months

While It's A Great Looking Car, It's No Avalon Of Old By ncee

I Still Love My "geezer Pleaser" And They Are Getting Hard To Find. By OldMoparNut
