2006 G6 — car is a v6 3.5l, a pretty quick car..its very roomy, open, decent stereo i like the appearance but would have preferred white lol gas mileage is not great, its less then trans am in the city but almost the same or a bit worse on the highway car is very fun to drive, sunroof is awesome and it can sure hold its own Primary Use: Commuting to work

This Car Should Never Be Comparied To A Any G6 Models Under It They May Be The Same Body But Not The — Pontiac G6 GT models and below are no where near this car the only thing they share in commen is the body a must drive to see what i mean. This Has Been A Great 2nd Vehicle And Good For To/from Work And Weekend Car. — The performance is great for the V6 with plenty of power and control on the road. Sportly little care with good gas mileage. The appearance is sleek and with the 17" alloy wheels the car is a streamlined machine. The car is fun to drive with good acceration and race type suspension, yet comfortable for long rides or commutes. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Good Car, Wish They Still Made Pontiacs — This is my wife's car but overall its been a good vehicle . I don't drive it that much but the perforformance is good, and we have had little maintance cost since owning this car. I like the 18 inch wheels and 50 seris tires, makes the car look nice. Looks And Drives Good, Geared Very High — 6 speed trans is geared very high, 185+ km/h in 4th gear. 3.9L V6 seems decently strong but has a low red line. Read wheel drive would be alot more fun to drive, as front wheel tends to push in the corners Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

2006 Pontiac G6 Gtp — 6MT Transmission with 290 HP and 285 lbs-ft of torque to the wheels 0-60 in 5.9 seconds with K&N Ram Air Intake Definitely a fun car to drive, negative being the FWD. Upgrades in mind: - Exhaust - ECU - Forced Induction of some kind - Rims, but first I need to get new tires because I've burned mine out :) Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Don't Trust A Pontiac. — Great car... until the warranty is out! At 37,000 miles my airbags, breaks, and transmission all began to go out. I drove it like an old lady, never slammed on the breaks or pushed the acceleration too hard, and still it started breaking down! While the car was fun to drive and great on gas and the interior was decently comfortable, the engine quality couldn't have been much worse. | ||

Smooth, Sleek, And Quick... — This is a heavy car, about 3500lbs, but the 240hp 3.9L V6 is more than enough to pull it around quickly. The 4wheels disk breaks stop it very well, and GM's FE2 suspension sticks it to the road , but at the same time is smooth over bumps. The 4 speed auto is "dated" but the tap shift lets you redline and won't shift which is nice. The optional 6spd has short throws and a fairly heavy clutch, but it's easy enough, and a lot more fun. 6spd is the way go go, just get the GT if you want an automatic. This car is a leap in the right direction for GM, and is more than up to the task to compete with Accord/Altima/Eclipse Primary Use: Commuting to work |
