ProsThe sound from the exhausts ConsThe roof will only fold when traveling at less than 5mph, some cars do it at 30mph

Slk 350 — The best thing about this car is its very versatile. You can shove it in comfort mode, put the heated seats and airscarf on and sit back and relax your drive, or you can shove it in tiptronic and manual, turn off the ESP and have a right old riot drifting it etc. The car weighs approx 1500 kgs put the V6 3.5 litre engine churns out 270 bhp which is the equivilent of having a cosworth engine tuned to stage 1. For a car that weighs 1.5 t to do 0-60 in just over 5 seconds is extremely good, the sound from the twin pipes is also imense, maybe i'll get the V8 AMG next!!!!

ProsIt's top of the line...Fabulous! ConsNo reason to avoid it unless you need to drive around with more than 2 people in the car.

I Have Suggested It To My Friend And I Will Buy Another One Soom. — It was a really fun car. The heated seats made for a fun drive on cold evenings down the coast of California. I would really rate this a 4.5 but I didn't have that option. I will definitely buy another one. The handling is so much fun. Easy and can turn around on a dime. The options make it the perfect complement for what you expect in a Mercedes. Gotta Love it! My friend even bought one after I did. What fun we had with our little side by side road trips. Cheers to Mercedes for the hard top convertible that is automatic. I'll never go back to manual again. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsI purchased a previously owned 2006 350 SLK with less than 45,000 miles from Oxnard MB over 6 months ago, AND LOVE IT!!! I'm amazed to look down at the speedometer and see 80 mph! It's a normal cruise for this car. Other than the CD reject button (in which Qxnard repaired under warranty), I have had no problems with this gem of a sports car. People are stunned that it is a used car...I'm still stuned too. Consnone

Fast, Fun, Fantastic! — No dislike, but a preference...a couple more inches long in the Driver's right leg room. Then again, I can resolved that with the 350 SLK AMG or the 500 SL! Otherwise, this car was an excellent purchase for me and my need to drive with the top down. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsFun, Sporty, hardtop convertible. ConsTurns heads.

Great Car To Drive, Amazing Sporty Look And Feel. — Performance: Acceleration is great, throws you to the back of the seat when you use the kick-down behind the accelerator. Braking is great, stops the car at a great distance while it also has ABS so it does not skid on wet or snowy surfaces. Handling is sporty but has both sport and comfort mode for those long drives. Its 228 horsepower, 3.0-liter V6 engine gives the real feeling of driving a sports car. It's just right for buyers seeking the pleasure of open motoring and the luxury of a Mercedes without the higher cost of the more powerful engine. Build Quality: Great build, design is flawless. When the roof is down the windows provide for a great drive without any noise and cold air blowing through. Car is extremely aerodynamic so it picks up speed much faster than any of its competitors. Appearance: Car has a flawless sleek design that turns heads when driven by. It is on of the extremely few Hardtop convertibles thats in the market. Leather upholstery gives it that great feeling when driven, along with a nine-speaker sound system with an in-dash CD player, an antitheft alarm and Tele Aid telematics, which provides emergency response service or direct connection to the nearest Mercedes dealer. Cost of Ownership: Gas mileage ranges from 18 city to 28 highway. Premium fuel is required and recommended. Maintenance is every 13,000 miles so there is no hassle for oil changes or brake flushes ever 3,000 miles. Fun Factor: This Mercedes Benz is great to own, it provides the best feeling of a sport car on local roads and especially on highways. Runs 0-60 in 6 seconds while its the safest car to be in. It has Electronic stability program, anti-braking system and traction control. Primary Use: Commuting to work

My Slk 55 Amg Special Series — I like that it's not just an AMG version. The performance is unique in ways which only Mercedes can describe and the Looks of the car are out of this world sexy. The cost ownership is definitely not something to toss to the side when it comes to an AMG. It's not a cheap car so you can't expect cheap service. When all is said and done I couldn't have made a more attractive choice. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Awesome Looking Car. I Get Compliments All The Tme On It. — I had corvettes, Nissan 350, Saturn Sky, . But none of those cars can compare to the SLK 350. The cock pit has a big car fell is very roomy compared to other sports cars. It hanldes and ride very smooth around town were the VET was a bumpy ride. The convertioble is aweomse using the retrackable roof Primary Use: Family transportation

I Love My Slk 280 — I love my car. It's amazing how you get what you pay for. The car is beautiful inside and out. Handles like a dream. Acceleration and breaking are very good. Built amazingly. Gas mileage is decent. This car has a huge gas tank. It is so much fun to drive! I'm not even kidding. Especially since I've been used to driving SUVs as of late or small Saturns. It drives like a sports car but it's not as low as a sports car. You might hit your head when you're getting in and out though.
