Memorable. Navigation System Is Great.handling Too. — All in all a solid form follows function ride . efficient and fun.wish I could keep it but the winter snows are too brutal on washington island.I need 4w drive and higher ground clearance.had a subaru but it was no fun to drive so got this mazda a year ago just in time for the worst winter of the century.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Lots of space in a micro minivan package.fun to drive.unique look.great color.

Cons: No 4w drive.

Great Car!!!! — I loved everything!! Small, Sporty looking yet still great family vehicle with lots of room! Has navigation system, sunroof/ moon roof with guard. Privacy tented windows on back side and back windows. Like SUV but still drives and feels like a car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: four captain chair sets, two front two back with arm rest plus third row hide away seat

Cons: no air vents in back

Has Been What I Hoped It Would Be...fun,reliable And Cheap To Own!!! — after 6 years this 5 has been and continues to be a car I still love to drive and can find some good accessories to add to it.It`s been dependable, has not had any major issues.I use it more like a 4 seater than a people carrier and even have had some fun with it out on some well known racetracks...just wish it came with the turbo option!!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: it`s more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow!!!,this MAZDA does have the zoom-zoom character.

Cons: no factory performance options!!!

Comfortable, Quick And Reliable — All around good little car. Quick. Gas efficient. Awsome size truck. Good handling. They suck in the winter with all season tires. Buy winters for sure. Maintenace is cheap. Fun to drive, sunroof helps. Nice interior and exterior. Hardly any repairs

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Rommy

Cons: Rust

Zoom Zoom. — I love this car. Love it, love it, love it. It's the perfect blend of small car economy, great fuel mileage, fantastic handling, and great for a small family. I would gladly buy another one without a second thought. Zoom Zoom.

Pros: Pretty much everything.

Cons: I wish it had more horsepower.

Mazda 5 — Excellent cost of ownership, no squeaks, no rattles, practical, comfortable for long travels over 8 hours. Not so good on AC, it takes some time to cool down in a hot sunny day.

Pros: comfort, cost of ownership, build quality

Cons: AC cooling time takes long

Great For Long Drive — If you travel a lot driving then this is the definitely the one of the best cars. The engine is powerful enough for most occasions. Enough space for 5 passengers. What else do you want for this car??

Pros: confortable ride

Cons: interior color sucks

The Most Practical Car On The Market For Small Families — I bought a Mazda5 Touring last year. I found a rare Touring-level model with a manual transmission. I loved the perfect size of the car, the peppy performance, the economy, and the flexible interior. We had one child who was 2 when we bought this car. Thus, we didn't need a "full-sized" mini-van or SUV... have you noticed that these things are getting huge? But, we did want the flexibility of a third-row and the ease of use of a minivan for day to day driving. So far my wife and I have been very happy with this car. It's easy to drive and very easy to park. It's extremely roomy and can carry real people in the third row (though cargo space becomes pretty limited when the back row is up). Downsides - Not as much cargo capacity as real minivans when the third row is used, but this is definitely the exception for us. It's normally used as a four-seater with a huge cargo area. It's not the quietest car on the open road but it isn't noticeably bad, either. Fuel economy is decent but not THAT much greater than if we had a V-6 powered van like a Mazda MPV. Positives - Easy to drive, easy access to the interior with the sliding doors. 5-speed manual gives peppy acceleration and it's surprisingly fun to drive. Very nice handling. Lots of standard features for the money. Our touring had a 6-cd changer, moonroof, power everything and we paid under $18k brand new. I think it looks good as well. Fit and finish in the interior is very nice. We've experienced no warranty issues in a year save for a remote control key fob that stopped working.

Owner for 1 years, 3 months

Miles Driven per Year:14,000
