Pros

Unlike a Cadillac, this car returns the favor when I turn it on.

Cons

Back seat is a bit small for making love in, but beat the heck pout of the Porsche.

Love It! — To get this good a performance car for the money in the used car market is awesome. Acceleration and handling make it a really fun drive in the daily grind of commuting. Not to mention finding a quiet country road or race track make for some intense fun in the 125+mph range.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Very safe, Very fast, Very agile and Very stylish.

Cons

Crap turning circle and most people would not choose it because it is a Volvo! They are the sad snobby gits!

Fantastic All Round Family Saloon — It is the best family saloon car in its class with plenty of space for luggage and world class safety but at the touch of a button it can become one of the fastest, most agile saloon cars on the road today producing 300BHP with a 0-60 time of less than 5.5 seconds and will go on to a limited top speed of 155MPH.

Pros

"F" "U" "N" - I absolutely LOVE driving my 2005 S60R. Handling is awesome. This car is both a performance car and a luxury car.  Car is Black and looks great!

Cons

Turning radius is not very good - but not good on my other '06 S60 either. I drive it hard and get around 20mph, which I guess is not bad.

Love It! — I was in the market for a used 3 Series BMW. I really wanted a manual transmission and was not able to find what I was looking for. I already own a '06 S60 which I am very happy with, but I wanted a manual transmission. As you know there are not many manual Volvo's on the road. At first I knew nothing about the S60R then one day I saw one posted on Craigs list and before I was able to go see it it sold. A few weeks later I saw this one posted and went to see it immediately. I was very impressed with the ride and the performance. The seats are way more comfortable than the BMW and the performance I think is comparable (no there is nothing like a BMW, but this car rocks). I like the features of the S60R - very nice. I have only owned this a month - and I love it!

Outstanding — Great car for daily driving or the weekend road race. Performance is excellent. Power is very good with no turbo lag. This is a 2.5L, 300HP, 5 cylinder High Pressure Turbo engine mated with a 5 speed Automatic Geartronic transmission. It has a 3 setting electronic supension system that really works well. Lastly it's all-Wheel Drive. Looks are great with the ground effects package. Top it off with a set of Brembo Brakes. What more could you ask for... Fuel economy has ranged from ~19-24 MPG... Love this car.

Volvo S60r — Car is amazing and the sport suspension, defintely the best of the choices. The interior is small but very sleek. The stereo is pretty could. It is suround sound, at least in mine. It handles great but the pickup has some left to be desired. All in all it is a good year.

Pros

Very fast. Active chassis control (big plus) also makes for a very stiff unibody frame. Brembo brakes - You Will Stop, very quickly. Most under-rated high hoursepower touring saloon you can buy - with Volvo quality and longevity

Cons

Somewhat limited leg room for rear seat passengers, unless the front seats are moved forward. Brake squeel, and you have to add the goop on the back of the pads every 6 months or so.

Extremely Happy With The S60r — An extemely affordable vehicle on the used car market. Most people don't know about the S60R and merely pass over it and pick a bmw 3 series. The S60R has 300 ponies plus, active chassis control, it'll blow any 300 series or M3 into the weeds. There's nothing like driving a car, when you step on it from a stop and go pedal to metal, and it push's you back into the seat. And all you can say is "woah".

Pros

Turbo punch

Cons

Awfully - really awfully sloppy gear selection gates

45

On-track Sprint Vs Magna Awd — Trail-braking required to minimise turn-in understeer. Some throttle needed mid-corner to drag tail into line. Quite swift, but lots of input needed - not an easy drive
