Recommended! — I really love my Armada. It has 60k on it and still drives like a dream. All the bells and whistles, including back-up camera, navigation, sunroof, Bose 6-disc stereo, etc. I love all the space! Really powerful engine too, so no worries when you need to get up and go. Not great on gas if you don't drive strategically, but we get a solid 19 mpg on the highway.

Pros

A powerhouse of a truck, and goodlooking. The 5.6L V8 isreliable to do any job from road trips to hauling. Cargo room is very impressive. Third row seat vanishes flat in the back, will make you think it does not exist. Rear seats double over and fold flat or raise flush against front seats. There are many combinations for Cargo space. The truck is fast and rock solid on high speeds for road trips (I have hit 110 MPH on it >>> Please drive responsibly<<<<) Overall a great truck.

Cons

Fuel Economy is terrible in CITY, and Highway could do better!!!! Nissan needs to up their game in engine efficiency technology like Fords Ecoboost... Depending on where its assembled, some fittings and parts suck as knobs for rear controls on roof in the interior are not long lasting. That's it.

Good Looking Powerhouse! — I like the fact that its so dependable. Its truly a vehicle that takes care of you if you show it some love. Some parts are hard to reach and replace, and require expert installation; but that is all manufacturers way of getting you to a dealership! With the right tools, you can do a lot of DIY maintenance. the 05 was assembled in the US, poor quality work in the interior, but its my understanding that newer models have been stepped up.

Pros

Power engine , specially the torque at low RPM is the better I ever felt for this size of vehicle

Cons

Needless to say that fuel consumption but because in 2004 was the 1st year that this line up see the light the quality interior was not good enough

If Big Is Not Enough — For seven real adults full seated good vehicle for long trips but commodity is not cheap.

Great Family Vehicle — I love the room and the way it handles. I have 6 kids and they all are very comfortable. They are all entertained also with the additional dvd players with optional wireless head sets. Great vehicle except for the gas.

Pros

Great family car. Can hold up to 8 people if needed. Large storage spaces above head, and great space in the back for hauling groceries or luggage (if third row is down). With the added bonus of the tow hitch for those vacation days. Kids will love the DVD system with Bose stereo speakers and the lounge style of the chairs. mom will love the stylish look of the car; not your ordinary Soccer mom car.

Cons

The driver seat has torn on the left side of the seat. Cloth seat can be replaced easily. Gas mileage is not favorable 12street/19hwy

Love This Car For The Family. Stylish And Comfortable. — I have loved having this car. It is exactly what I wanted my family of 5 to have. Stylish, roomy and comfortable. Can fit for all types of jobs I needed it for; grocery shopping, commuting to work, school, vacations, etc. Maintenance has been kept up so I have never had any problems mechanically with the car. This style vehicle does have low standards on gas mileage, but it's a large SUV so I expected that.

Perfect For A Family With Short Commutes — Fuel mileage is pretty good for its size, but @ current gas prices it is very costly to fill up. All repairs are expensive on this vehicle. Few repairs have been needed, but even oil changes are more expensive. Other than that, it is wonderful. Comfortable, reliable, and attractive. We love this vehicle!

Bigger Is Not Always Better. — We needed a car to carry 8 of us, so our 2007 Nissan Quest SE had to go. We thought we'd keep it in the family and find an Armada. We've always liked the look of the Armada because it's a little different. The interiors are very bland in color until you get to the 2008 year model and above. Very spacious interior and easy access to the 3rd row make it work well for our family with some growing boys. (The kids think it looks tough too.) The Armada has been a very solid machine, but I'm not taken in by it. I think it has a lot to do with these 3 items: 1. Interior is very bland. 2. The Gas mileage around town averages 10mpg. (and we've seen worse lately). 3. Does not seem to "glide" along as some of our previous cars. (Seems like you have to keep your foot in it to keep it rolling.) Now to be fair, I haven't 'dug' into this vehicle to see if there is anything specific that needs to be done to better the MPG numbers, etc. That is probably something I'll tackle this Spring. Stay Tuned...

Not Bad For The First 18 Months - A Nightmare Ever Since — This car still stalls randomly (high speeds, low speeds, idling, pulling out in traffic and coasting). Quite a dangerous situation. Have taken it into Nissan 5 different times in an effort to cure the problem. Like pulling teeth with them to get a rental for me - even though I have the extended srevice warranty. People at Nissan Corporate are somewhere between clueless and careless. Last Nissan I'll ever own.
