Good — Drives good, looks good, reliable, airbag light issues. Great little car for 9 years. I have driven the car 84,000 miles in those 9 years. Light issues just started in Nov. Love to drive it handles well now just wont pass inspection and no fixes yet.

Pros

great on gas, reliable, inexpensive

Cons

outer body falls apart if hit or tapped and expensive to fix because many parts needed

Great Car For A First Time Car — body kit breaks and crumbles easily if hit (15-20 mph), very reliable otherwise. great on gas, never had transmission problems. does NOT accelerate well at all. lots of passenger space, nice clean interior look. just not the dream car look.

Cons

Drivetrain and overall performance

Super — Car runs good, handles great in the snow and ice, it is very sluggish on get up and go, the cost is way to much, and to me it's a fun car to drive, if you like Kia's get one.

Pros

run great  burns very little gas

Cons

parts are hard to replace, everything takes a week to get into stock ( ie  inner door assembly or relays). tends to be very light in the front and tends to slide unless tires are in excellent shape

Good Little Car That Lasts A Long Time — this a goood starter car for a young family or person that commutes inner city. Rasy to handle with enough power to cruise at 140kph for an extended time. Can also be used for long trips ( 4or 5 hours) but gets very tiring and boring

Too Bad They Don't Make It Anymore. :( — A great little car that is fun to drive. Easy on gas and continues to be a fun ride. I enjoy the 5 speed transmission and it handles great on the many windy roads that meander here in Bucks county.

Pros

Cheap, reliable, flexible

Cons

NOT A FAST CAR

55

Decent Car — The Kia Spectra was a ruggedly built, reliable, low maintenance car with versatile cab and truck space, a fairly quite ride, and smooth feeling transmission. Its completely lacking in horsepower and handling, but it got people from point "A" to point "B" with safe, dry, and comfortable with little fuss one its own behalf. Also, its was fairly inexpensive.

Pros

My car is wonderful.  I like how you can haul so much, the fuel mileage is great! and it handles really nice on the road.  I never had a car I liked this much!

Cons

The only thing I didn't like is the brakes wear out funny.  I had to replace the rotors twice and some of the other parts in the brakes.

This Car Is The Best Ever! — The car is overall the best car I ever owned, mileage is great, nothing went wrong with it. since I bought it. It has 135,000 miles on it now and I replaced the brake rotors on it. That was the only thing I had to fix so far, along with one wheel alignment., The hatchback is great. You can haul 8 foot 2x4's if you have to! Kids fit good in the back too. very roomy for a small car. Too bad they quit making them. I would definitely recommend it, but when I looked for one for sale, I couldn't find one within 600 miles!!!

Very Clean And Dependable. — Great gas mileage. Rides smooth. This car is a great car for a student or a family because it is a medium size car. This is a fun car to drive because it has plenty of engine power if needed at a moments notice such as passing a slow moving dump truck.

Good space. Comfortable drive. Nice Handling.

Cons

Lack of Power for pick-up.

45

Great Value — Probably has the biggest interior space in its category. The features are normal but everything works well and very functional. Safety rating is also more than decent for at its price point. Handling of the car is brilliant. This is car is a practical point to point car and makes a decent cruiser.
