Pros

Pocket Rocket! Fast spooling, fun to drive.

Cons

FWD sucks. No top end. Need to put more money into turbo.

Fun, Reliable, Thrasher. — I owned this car for 5 years and it ran great throughout. Although I never spent a lot of money on mods, stock turbo had a lot of power. This car did what I asked it to. I will definetly miss it.

Pros

It handles nice, and is great on gas. Costs are not that bad, and they are not really an eye sore. So to speak. Over all. Has not been a bad car to own.

Cons

Small. Not much balls. Excels slowish, Not much of a man car unless modified.

Over All Impression Of The Car Is Fair. — Like a lot of things. Dislike a little. Its not a bad car over all. It's small to fit in to smaller places. This has came in handy a lot of times. I don't really have to much bad to say about the car. It's not a power car. But it works....

Second One Owned — Best performance car for the $ spend. Fun to drive, good handling. Surprises many people with the performance. Good looking car as well with the spoiler and hood scoop. Tight to work on the engine but that is normal now days of course.

Great car, just don't expect it to be a luxurious car

Cons

Not really anything, just not for everyone

Awesome Car, But Don't Set Your Expectations Too High — Awesome car, fun to drive. It is "all business" though, so don't expect any extra creature comforts. This car is comfortable and does good as a daily drive, but it will leave something to be desired if you are expecting a high tech luxury sport compact. All together the performance of this car far exceeded my expectations upon test driving it. The power is definitely there, even in the low RPM ranges (especially impressive for a 4 cylinder.) The handling is great, and it's a blast to throw around corners. The braking is amazing, it stops from 60-0 in about 116 feet, which is on par with Lamborghini The build quality.... well it's a Neon. That is all I am really going to say here. (cheap plastic, squeaks, rattles, road noise etc...) I think the car looks great, although it is what I call a pissed off teenager car, so it likely won't appeal to the older generations. As far as cost goes, it is pretty high maintenance if you are doing it right. Only take premium, needs new spark plugs just about every oil change. Only use fully synthetic oil (I only used Mobil 1.) The car was very reliable up to 100,000 miles, however the turbo, valve cover gasket and water pump all failed on me at the same time my clutch went out (that part was expected, this is normal for just about any manual car.)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

It Sucks — this car is fast but to much money in it. it sucks for a daily driver but I still use it every day. If you have the money to put into a car buy one if not dont waste your time with the Srt-4.

A Day Or Fun And Everlasting Enjoyment — The car is so appealing to the all of the five senses. It feels so powerful in your hands for such a small car, the symphony of notes bellowing from the engine and exhaust make your mouth water for speed. I Love it.

Very Fun Daily Driver And Great For Any Skill Level. — I disliked the price of performance parts and rarity or OEM body parts. The car itself, though was an amazing starter and has seen many roads and states and I love every moment, from cruising to showing off when necessary.

If You Don't Have Anywhere Important To Go — Good performance great fuel economy poorly built nice appearance great to drive roomy interior oem parts are cheap and readily available front seats are too low retail manufacture selling price too high for quality of car this car is fun to drive, great hiway car once all the factory parts have been replaced with high priced aftermarket parts this is a good car should have bought a celica or a tiberon, same price

Cons

I lose my car all the time! It hides behind huge trucks

Amazing Car, Definately Recommended For A College Student. — All Neons leak when it rains. They all leak through the back taillights because the seal isn't tight. This is easily fixable. Gas mileage is absolutely amazing, about 35 on highway. Maintenance isn't too bad. It doesn't do too bad with acceleration, the brakes squeak all the time though which is also common with neons. Handling is amazing. When I hit two coyotes this summer, the front bumper flexed and slightly cracked so the build isn't too bad. I love the interior of it, its what I look for, its nice and clean.

Do It — Best car for the money, quality is so so, gas mileage is great I regularly get 28+ in the city, performance is awesome in a strait line and in corners, and its not an expensive car to own at all. Over this is a great great car, you won't regret it.

It's A Good Car For A Young Driver That Wants A Little Boost. By Nina
