ProsPerformance - Quality - Innovation - Appearance - Comfort ConsTire Rumble - Maintenace Costs (Tires $$$)

2005 Cadillac Sts — This car blends the best all worlds, comfort, performance, economy, quality, reliability, beauty, and prestige all wrapped in an American product. Performance is solid and strong, yet still returns decent fuel economy of about 22 MPG in mixed driving. The interior is luxurious, quiet (except for some tire rumble), very comfortable and well laid out. The elegant exterior is a color called Moonstone Metallic, a charcoal dark gray that shifts depending on the light. Just pure eye candy! Oh and lets not forget absolutely amazing Cadillac service and care, you are treated with great respect and make you feel like a king. Worth the extra cost alone! Overall it makes this car an excellent value in my opinion. After three years, I am still highly satisfied and will only replace with another Caddy in the future!

ProsLooks phenomenal ConsCould use more space in the back seat area

Awesome Sts4 — I love this car more than any I've ever owned. It looks phenomenal. Handles like a dream. The all wheel drive is perfect for Indiana winters. The interior is beautiful. I love the XM radio and navigation. Seats are great, heated and air conditioned. Could use more leg room for the back seats, however the trunk is massive! I'll drive this car until the wheels fall off!

ProsSuch a luxurious and comfortable ride. A very respectable car on the road; commands the perception that a high-up or boss is driving one. The looks are stunning with and it drives so smooth and effortlessly. ConsNot many negatives about this car. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars on power simply for the fact that over the years I've become more of a sports car or turbo engine type of guy. This car is definitely equipped and I don't feel it is UNDER-powered, I just like to really blast off when I press the pedal so it really just depends on your driving style/preference. Gets decent gas mileage, not exactly a gas-guzzler. If you get it serviced by Cadillac like I do regularly, rather than an express lube, you'll be charged dealership pricing on maintenance. You get what you pay for so I don't mind; I only trust GM/Cadillac to handle my car.

One Of The Classiest Luxury Cars On The Road Today — This car is very fun to drive and it still turns heads when it drives by. Highway driving couldn't be more smooth and relaxing. Almost feels like you're driving on a cloud with pillows surrounding you. The handling and performance is excellent and in the 7 years I've owned one it has never been in the shop for any major issues, just routine maintenance. A great buy. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsMaximum luxery at an affordable price, this car is a steal! ConsIt would look better if I spent some money on extra window tint!

I Love The Car, But Don't Drive It Very Often. I Have A "high Mileage Car That I Drive To Work. — I bought this car based on its looks and navigation system, the ride and the quality were excellent additions. I love the car, I love the stereo and I love the way it looks when it is washed and waxed. I have had $3500 dollars worth of radio's, subwoofers and amplifiers in past cars. The Cadillac may not be quite as loud, but the sound quality is excellent. Primary Use: Family transportation

Sweet Ride — I love this car, just couldn't haul hay. * Performance - acceleration, braking, handling - Perfect! * Build Quality - has it needed repairs? squeaks/rattles - Fixed alot of the front end problems from the STS in the 90's (yes this is my second one) * Appearance - both interior and exterior styling - I think it looks awesome * Cost of Ownership - gas mileage, maintenance - This car has cost me alot of money, but not the car's fault, it would be kids * Fun Factor - is this car fun to drive? Very Fun Car Primary Use: Family transportation

Supernatural!!! — like acceleration, top speed of 174mph,performance chip!! sleeper looks, eats mustangs on highway & any v-8 short of supercharger/i dont like around town gas mileage.. but its fun to drive & it looks like grandpa's car but with grand-son athleticism. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsPower, style, space, good street manors. ConsGas mileage.

Cadillac Sts — This car is a very classy car with some performance numbers that would put a crown vic to shame. I don't know what to think if all other sedans make this thing look good or if this thing makes them look bad. I got one of these on an entrance ramp with my dad and it was at 90 mph before we started to merge into traffic. How you ask well its all in the powerplant for this classy well behaved beast. A 32 valve Northstar V-8 powers this beast and while it may be thirsty its worth it. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsEngine Response, Electrical Gadgets, Sound System, Looks ConsElectrical glitches, runs on high-test, gas mileage.

Blast To Drive! — So far, I've had the car for a little over a month and completely floored by it. It has great pick-up, great looks, and wonderful amenities. The Bose sound system is simply wonderful. It's a blast to drive the only con I've found is that the NorthStar loves to go through gas. Roughly 18 MPG. I've had a few electrical quirks, but with Cadillac's I've come to expect it.

ProsDelicious looks, great engine (4200lb luxo rice burner), plush interior with lots and lots of features: heat/cool seats, 14 speaker Bose 5.1 Studio Surround, Nav, one-touch windows all around, almost everything you could ask for. ConsAWD trans needs reflashed after 20k miles for jerking (only once and cheap), glove-box.

Stellar Deliciousness — Northstar V8 LH2 320hp / 315lb-ft AWD 5 speed auto (2005) 4200lbs 17/24mpg 0-60 under 6 seconds Bose 5.1 Studio Surround (14 speakers) Only disappointment in the interior is the somewhat creaky plastic trim between the two front seats.. everywhere else is spectacular. |
