Pros

The sporty look to it. Perfect for any age.

Cons

There is none.

It Is Going To Cost A Arm And A Leg To Detail To Perfection. :) — The Pontiac Grand Am GT has a nice smooth ride to it. The color is a awesome Metallic Orange with a hint of Red. Also, it is the Ram Air series, so you can put a lot of detail into it. The car has a minimum maintenance to it, because of it being a low rider and have to watch out for curves and parking stalls. You don't want to scratch any paint off the bottom, Right.

Cons

the interior quality and seats are not up to par for cars in this class

Fun To Drive, Great For First Car And Quick Commuting And Track Days — Runs nicely, has never needed any major repairs, gets great fuel economy for the size and power, very fast and light car for its class, extremely fun to drive. It is a great tuner car for. Would highly recommend the v6 with the GT trim package.

Pros

Torque...steering...body stlying

Cons

Interior...radio...carpet...headlamps...backseats...

Pontiac Grandam — Amazing torque...but not too powerful for the front wheel drive system. Interior is lacking compaired to most modern cars. So beautiful in the corners though, even when the back wheels slip out from behind you. All it takes is a little skill and a flick of the wrist to bring you back from the pearly gates.

Pros

Reliable and looks good

Cons

not enough power for me lol

Sc/t — Just wish it was a manual with alittle more power. Like the SC/T concept. Supercharged 6 speed woulda been nice from the factory. Appearance wise they did a good job. Performance can top a GTP my main liking for the 3400 over the 3800

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

I Own This Car And Have Transmission Problems At Only 44,000 Miles! — Overall, I love Pontiacs, and normally would have sworn by them. I previously owned 2 Pontiacs (one '97 Grand Am GT and one 2004 Pontiac Sunfire GT. However, the Grand AM SE absolutely DOES NOT compare to my others! I have had it for almost 2 months, bought it used with 41,000 miles on it- I've had it about 2 months. I am by NO means a "speed demon", I treat my vehicles well & service them on a regular basis. I just changed the Transmission fluid hoping it would help my issues with the car. Unfortunately, the transmission is sticking, revving at high speeds and slipping constantly. The repair shop cannot diagnose the problem to fix since there are no light-ups on the dash stating that anything is working improperly. I hate the thought of having to put $3,000.00 into a car to replace the transmission on a car I just bought. At this point, I would NEVER recommend a Pontiac again to anyone that I care about. I don't know what happened in the design of the car- but whatever it is- they should all be pulled off the road and consumers given a REFUND!!!

Dependable — I liked everything about the car. Stereo sounds good for factory stereo. It has good get up and go engine. It rides real smooth on the road and there is a lot of leg room for the people in the back seat.

Pros

Size and color are actually why I bought this car, and that it is one of the only V6's still readily available at a decent price.

Cons

That a lot of the electrical does not work properly, but this is because the dealership did not fix the car before selling it.

If Everything Would Have Worked From Day 1 I Would Love This Car. — I bought this car used, and it had been used quite a bit. It isn't the car's fault, but they sold it to me in not a very good condition. But everything that does work works well, and I love driving my car :]
