My Car — What I like about my car is it's size and performance. I like riding in a large, roomy car that has lots of pick-ups and handles well - plus, it's still a car. I don't mind trucks and would like to have one as a second vehicle, but I think trucks should be trucks and not these sissified SUV's that seem to be all over the place these days. I also like my car's fuel economy. I can get over 30 mpg's on the highway. Try that in an Expedition or a Durango.

This Is A Great Vehicle. Now I Know Why There Is A Pontiac Club. — I did a lot of research about this car before I decided to buy. Great ride and drive. Seats are as comfy as you will find. Car has plenty of power whenever needed. Gas mileage is consistently at 28 MPG highway & 22 MPG city.

Pros

Extremely rare ride that turns head.  GM Performance Division at its best!

Cons

Gas, Gas, Gas.  I'm only getting 14 miles per gallon on average, but I do have a heavy foot.

Best Car I've Ever Owned! — If you're looking for a sporty, race car that seats 5 comfortable, you've found your ride. It has all the features found on GM's best Cadillacs, but with Pontiac attitude. You get a Northstar V8, performance suspension and transmission, heads up display and an impressive Monsoon stereo system. If you're looking for a sports car for grown-ups, you've got to take one of these for a spin. That is, if you can find one!

04 Gxp — This was a sweet ride. Heated leather and suede seats. Both front seats were power. The best part of the car: the engine. It was a 4.6 liter Northstar V-8. This car, with new tires, would light up so easily. This bad boy was so nice on the road as well. The only bad thing was the gas type. Paying $50 a week in premium gas was not fun.

Remarkable Pos — Performance / economy is exceptional for a full sized sedan. The super chaged 3.8L V6 delivers plenty of torque and averages 29 mpg on the highway. Aesthetically, I am very pleased. This is where the good remarks stop. While the nicest vehicle I have ever owned, it is also the worst. Nice and good are not synomynous. For a near $37,000 automobile, the quality and reliability is garbage at best. There have been multiple steering and suspension failurs, sensor failuers, ALL FOUR power window motors failed, driveability problems, and even body corrosion on this maticulously maintained and garage kept vehicle with ultra low miles!! My old 1984 Camaro that I bought used and had been in severe accident and occasionally caught on fire was more reliable than this POS. My wife's Cavalier which cost a fraction of the SSEi has had no problems, and her miles/year average is double mine. GM should be embarrassed. What a dissappointment.
