2004 Mazda Tribute DX Trim Overview

The Mazda Tribute SUV with the entry-level DX trim package and front-wheel-drive was powered by a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that produced 130 horsepower. A five-speed manual transmission was standard.
Other standard features the front-wheel-drive DX included air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, power steering, dual front airbags, a keyless entry system, a tilt steering wheel, and an AM/FM stereo system with a CD player.
Drivers liked the Tribute's responsive handling, smooth ride, interior roominess, solid feel, storage capabilities, and affordable price, but thought the seats could be more comfortable and the shifter could be sluggish.
