Prosdrives like butter on a hot pan Consin the snow trackion is touchy

This Is A Good Realiable Car ,if You Maintan It — the brakes are very touchy, acceleration is something you very notice: picks up very fast. only thing is the bumpers are a bit weak but only 60 bucks a bumper its not much a problem. This car is a 6 cyliander so its drinks gas but shows u how much you have till empty. low maintence, and loud speakers make this an ok car. This car is also a work horse!!!!! we put 220,000 miles plus an shes still working it!!! so treat ur cars right an they can do the same for you. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsComfortable ride, plenty of room, fold down rear seats provide for extra cargo space ConsWish the gear selector had 1, 2, D and OD. They leave out the 2 so I can't stay in 2nd. A/C could be stronger as it doesn't work real well in 100 plus degree heat.

Good Family Car And Every Day Driver — The Ford Taurus had some years where Ford ignored it and quality and reliability were an issue. For 2004, this was not a problem as Ford started paying attention again. The SES has all the standard features for mid value sedans of that year. The 3.0 L engine is a little weak for a car this size but it is adequate. Just don't expect it to put you back in your seat if you hit the gas to get on the freeway. Ford doesn't seem to think people want or need second gear. I've noted several models over the years that did not have a second gear on the automatic gear selectors. I find a second gear in heavy traffic keeps the car from shifting constantly. Primary Use: Family transportation

Very Reliable All Around A Great Car For Anyone — my favorite thing about the car is its roomy inside but it doesn't take away form the power of the car like some vehicles the car still has a lot of go in it good for kids who wanna cruise with friends or a family that wants to go somewhere Primary Use: Commuting to work

Couldn't Expect Any More, Runs Great. — Good american car without the ridiculous price tag. 10 grand for 30,000 miles beautiful condition, not a scratch, interior perfect. MPG not great 18.9 on average. Does have a little quicks and has a cool metalic green color. My second taurus, never have had a problem. I think people get sucked in to thinking more money and foreign is so much better. WHY? I paid cash, no car payment and have great car. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsGas Mileage..6 disc CD player...Dependable ConsIt needs new brakes

Its Dependable... — Ok... so I think the car gets decent gas mileage. We have found that gas from Shell Gas Station works better in the car and gives it better gas mileage. I would say 20/city 24/highway. Yup good reliable car to drive. It kinda looks a lil crappy right now because the drivers side mirror is hanging on by a couple of wires.

Total Dece — I've had some fun in my taurus its one the taurus models that has 201bhp witch is ok for the type of car it is it has some pickup witch is good though it goes 0-60 in about 7 seconds not exactly a racer. It has some pretty good handling but tends to oversteer a bit but its not too difficult to contol |
