Because it's CNG vehicle it keeps you insured against the volatility of gas prices. Natural gas vehicles mean you can drive in the hov lane, are totally green and good for the environment, and keeps you from having to do emissions testing. I like these factors which is why I purchased the truck. It runs very well at 130 octane and almost seems to be better for the truck overall.. Apr 30, 2015

This truck is great for pretty much everything except having a full family. Definitly would say get a crew cab instead but my truck is all stock underneath and I'm almost at 400,000 kms on it with ver minimal work... not always the cheapest on fuel but I've had much much worse!Apr 19, 2012

its nice that i have abs in a way mainly cause its 2wd, but it has an ok 4.2l V6 and an 8ft bed, gotta love the extra space over the last truck i had...(99tacoma). the price was right and it runs great and only has 30k miles on it, i love this new truck!!
i get about 17-20 mpg on the highway, mainly cause i only do about 65. it may be a half ton truck but i already know it can carry some good weight. i like the layout of the interior, roomy, great head and leg room(im 6ft 1in tall) and i have plenty of room. it has manual locks and windows, vinyl floor, bench seat, and a 5 speed trans., just what i love in a TRUCK. this truck rides great for what it is (a truck not a car) and even though its a little on the heavy side she stops fast, 4 wheel anti lock brakes, stops quick!!!!Sep 15, 2010

I love the sleek design, it is a good size truck and keeps the heritage design. (Not the rough corners, nice and smooth). I have a long bed that I bought a shell for. It's like driving around a small apartment! The V-8 engine is great for blowing by the Honda's (not my favorite), and I can see what the driver is sipping on...The only problem I have is my truck gets 12 m.p.g. ugh!Sep 22, 2008

How can I tell if I have an XL or XLT model of the 2004 F-150 Heritage ?
Details: 2004 F-150 Heritage, V6, 4.2L, 2WD, regular cab, 5-speed Manual trans, A/C, manual windows, manual door locks. QUESTION: I bought this truck second hand and the previous owner was a DIE HARD Lobos (New Mexico) fan. He covered up all exterior model plates with plates denoting LOBOS. He did it on both side fenders. Personally, I could care less if the LOBOS plates remain, as I'm sure I'd end up destroying the OEM FORD model plates anyway if I tried to remove the overlaying LOBOS plates. (Then I'd have to buy 2 new side panel model plates to repair the possible damage.) QUESTIONS: 1. Would my VIN # disclose the model of truck I actually have? 2. Would it tell me whether it is an XL or XLT model? Thanks in advance
