Pros

BEST car I have EVER owned in 30+ years!

Cons

Only issue is Ford no longer sells it!

If I Could Get Another, I Would Buy It In A Hot Minute, Just Add Limited Slip. — This is the BEST car I have owned in over 30 years of professional driving! Combines the heavy duty Police Pack with all leather, bucket seats, console shifter and aluminum rims. Looks fantastic inside and out, takes off like a rocket, handles like a sports car, stops on a dime. In easy driving, I get 22 MPG alone in the car. The chip limits it to 120 MPH, where it can cruise easily all day (but only with 'Z' rated tires). Yes, it came with Goodyear 'Z' rated tires! I have had zero problems, other than swapping the air shocks for coils. It looks 'cop' but it's not. I have never been pulled over in 130000+ miles! I wish Ford still sold this model, I am ready for another. A Mustang just doesn't look tough enough...

This Is Not A Car For The Faint Of Heart, Cause It Will Scare You! — This is the most coolest car! It has lots of cool features like stab proof front seats, bullet proof panels in the doors, and the drive train and suspension is all heavy duty. And considering that it's a big car it really performs good, it was good acceleration, handling, and lots of power.

Pros

Reliability, comfort, quality and performance are second to none as far as 4 door Family sedans go and it won't nickel and dime you to death trying to keep it on the road but overall this car is a joy to drive.

Cons

This year I had to replace the climate control resistor for about $50.00. It's located adjacent to and just right of the heater core and that was a tight fit but, the A/C was blowing cold as ice in about an hour. Other then that, they don't make these cars anymore and it's a shame.

Greatest Middle Class Family Car Ever Made. — Reliability, comfort, quality and performance are second to none as far as 4 door sedans go. I will say that I've had to replace the passenger power window switch @ less than 45k and that surprised me and now the same window is acting up again from the drivers side switch and that ticked me off a bit and the adjustable pedals can hang up a little but, again it seems to be a faulty switch but, I rarely use them. The other problem is the traction control on our wavy, winding roads here in Arizona. The sensor will activate and kill the power to the accelerator so, I just shut it off when traveling on certain roads but, those are options I wouldn't have never ordered had I bought it brand new. My 1998 Vic didn't have any of those problems but didn't have the for mentioned options. Both Crown Victoria's I've owned did come special ordered with full dual exhaust with an "H" pipe and have noticeable acceleration and performance enhancements. All in all I love this car and I wouldn't know how to replace it if something happened to it. I bought it with 38k for $7500.00 Cash because the guys selling it inherited it when his Mom passed away and he didn't want the car and everyday I feel like I stole it from him but, that was his asking price.... It's like a brand new car (it just passed 45k miles and it's a complete joy to drive) and the price was just unbeatable!!!!

Pros

Awesome V8 engine, amazing handling at high speed, great cornering for a large car.

Cons

Gas mileage, lack of interior comforts.

I Love This Car Because It's For Fun And Leisure. — Acceleration is pretty good considering how heavy this boat is. It's built like a tank, takes turns better than you would think, and hops over speed bumps with ease. The interior is beat...rear passengers can't open the doors to get out, and 3 of my window motors are about shot. It's my second vehicle so I barely drive it 1000 miles per month..maybe not even 500 so it doesn't cost me much. The fun factor is 10 out of 10....you can abuse it as much as you want and it takes it like a champ and begs for more. :)

Pros

BUY AMERICAN!

Cons

The police are offended by a civilian driving a police vehicle.

Get One Before The Cab Companies Destroy Them. — I like it because its got tons and tons of power. It scares the pants of all the kids in there civics and maximas. Handles like a cop car should. Fun? oh yea, it's fun as hell. pretty good on gas for a boat. Doesn't cost much to fix, but then again it doesnt break!

Few Problems/ Easy To Work On/ Two Previous Crn Vics Went +200k Before Selling. — plenty of power even with base V-8,lazy downshifts can be programed out. A few years(2006,Canadian worker strike?) poor build quality. Reasonable maintenance costs. Don't agree with Consumer Reports review. Black LX Sport looks good. Cool. Would purchase another.

Pros

Doesn't suck gas if you drive it normally, tough as a tank :)

Cons

Big, sucks gas if u have a lead foot like I do :)

Old Police Car — It's a former police cruiser, so it has it's flaws of course, and it squeaks and creaks a lot, but it's still a tank on wheels and pretty damned fast too. It's fun in the left lane on the turnpike when paranoid drivers move out of the way for me to get somewhere fast :) It also has tons of room inside, and a trunk that could hold an entire circus tour.

ROOMY! Rides better than a Caddy, hugs the road, reliable, SAFE (I was rear ended by a semi in one and still drove it home), and FAST!!!

Cons

None.

P71 Crown Victoria — First of all, let me dispel a myth, there are few things that will outrun these! It is the most well built, most comfortable car I have ever owned. In fact, this is my second one! I'll never buy a different car again! And, it's not bad on gas either!

My Beautiful, Awesome Crown Vic. — I love my Vic! It gets so many different reactions, and it's fast, slick, and just because it's four-door doesn't mean it's slow. It'll clean your clock. It's exteremly fun to drive and handles great! It corners like no other car I've driven. Plus with the new exhaust it sounds great!
