Not too big, not too small.

I would always want to have better mileage but as good or better than I expected.

Better Than I Expected. — I like the overall size of this vehicle. I don't feel like I am driving around in a tank. Yet I feel very safe in it while on the road. I wouldn't mind getting another one for my wife. She enjoys driving it as well.

Pros

This is a family car. Spacious and comfortable.
The cost of fixing it is very affordable.

Cons

Gas mileage isn't the best. But I did fine the last 4 years.

I Loved Her At First Sight — I liked the room and the handling. I felt safe in this vehicle. I enjoyed the ride. I wasn't fond of the gas mileage when gas prices where high. I had to get used to being up so high. This was my first SUV.

Pros

Great space for a SUV. Easy to DIY maintenance like Plugs, Shocks\struts, fuel filter, oil changes.

Cons

This SUV has had numerous reported issues with poor engineering. Issues like headlights shorting out, doors locking\unlocking on their own, speakers stop working when turning left, overhead lights only turn off when using the override button. Hitting any bump causes numerous rattling that sounds like vehicle components are falling off and causing a hazard to the public in general, even after NEW shocks all the way around have been replaced. This vehicle has shut off in the middle of an intersection

2004 Trailblazer Ls — Despite all the cons, and the fact I'll never own another Chevrolet with this being the 3rd one that I've owned with numerous problems, I still like this SUV. I Have spent about $1500 on maintenance in the 7 years I'v owned it. I have replaced numerous items myself easy enough.

Pros

Starts right up everytime.  Very smooth ride.  Very handy vehicle.

Cons

I'm glad it's only a 6 cylinder.  An eight cylinder would burn too much gas.

Very Glad I Made The Purchase. — I can't really say that I dislike anything about the car. It's more than I thought it was going to be and I don't regret anything at I that I bought this vehicle. I would definitely recommend it to anybody who asks me about it.

Pros

Space, 4 wheel drive, sporty looking, cargo room, runs and drives great.

Cons

Fuel mileage, some features that don't really do anything that if they go wrong can be expensive fix.

Great Family Vehicle With 4x4. — The trailblazer is a great vehicle for a family. Plenty of space for the kids and for putting things in the back like groceries, sporting equipment, etc. Has tow package to pull a trailer. It is one of those vehicles that has many uses. The only problems is some repairs can be expensive but I guess they can on any vehicle. The thing I hate on the trailblazers is the secondary air injection system which is a feature that doesn't really do a whole lot and goes bad quite often. I don't what this to turn you off from this vehicle as it is probably one of the best all around vehicles to have as a family, but does have some minor problems.

Pros

It's not too big so it's easy to drive and it handles very well! It has for the most part been very reliable and overall I have had that many problems. It's high enough that I have Grady visibility while I'm driving.

Cons

For it to be a SUV style vehicle, it doesn't have a 3rd row seat so it's like a big car that drinks gas like a SUV. It doesn't have cruise control and I wish the front had more room in the console area for me. I don't like the cup holders in the back seat and it needs a little more leg room.

Overall Good Experience. Has All Of The Things A Car Needs For You To Feel Comfortable — I'm not really sure what to say that's hasn't already been stated. Overall good experience with a few minor bumps. Possible recommendation to someone looking for a convenient SUV.. Wish it had cruise control and a little bit more room in the inside.

Great Rig — Great Vehical, Does well in all types of weather, Gets a little worse fuel economy than I originally thought it would, Normally 18-20 sometimes worse, sometimes better. Plenty of Power for anything you would ever need to do with an SUV. Great to drive around

Smooth Ride — I like the trailblazer as a whole. Everything about it is great. The only downfall is that I can't put things, such as dirty, greasy, oily things in it due to the fact I don't want to mess up the carpet. Hunting in it is fine if you don't bag that trophy, or else you will be strapping it to the roof, which would suck.

Good Suv Overall, As Long As You Don't Want To Use It Over 5-6 Yrs. — This car is very comfortable and has given me years of use. It's awesome for cross-country travel, towing and hauling. It needed a lot of repairs, though, I was glad to have the extended warranty. Luckily it only acted up at home!

It feels very safe when riding in it.

Cons

Transmission went out.

25

Underrated Suv — I like the fact that I can smoke little Japanese cars like Civics on the take off. The inline 6 on this vehicle puts out a lot of HP for an SUV. Hope to add a chip to increase HP and gas mileage.
