Love It — We have owned Tahoes for about 12 years. This is our 3rd one. Great SUV. Very comfortable ride. Very good quality. Gas mileage not great. The leather heated power seats are the most comfortable I have ever found. DVD system is OK but you have to use the Chev headsets to use and you can't use the headsets for the radio or CD player. OVerall, this is a great vehicle Primary Use: Family transportation

A Very Relaible Vehicle — Tahoe has alot of seating room, It has the 5.3L motor, It tows pretty well overall it drives pretty good for a suv and with the 4 wheel drive it does pretty good offroad as well. I added offroad tires and hope to add a lift kit soon but it does pretty much wat i need it to do. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Safe Car To Be In And Is Fun To Drive — great SUV with a strong 5.3L v8 and is fast and never gets stuck in snow having the z71 package makes it even better and have a extra row of seating makes it easy for me to have more friends with me only bad thing is that it sucks gas Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

I Love This Truck — This truck handles great and I love the 4wd feature (especially after a big snow storm). Had a few warranty repairs done in first year (speedometer replaced and drivers door realigned) but all seems to work great now and has never left me stranded. I would definitely buy again. The leather heated seats are to die for. I would never buy another vehicle without that feature and the Bose stereo is phenominal! The mileage is average for this size of vehicle. I didn't buy it for the mileage.....it's all about appearance and realiability and I like having some metal around me just in case. Aside from oil changes, and regular maintenance check ups it hasn't cost me a penny extra. This is the best vehicle I've owned so far out of many. | ||

ProsNo squeaks or noises. It is tight all the way around. The finish is as nice as when I bought it. The high lift of the Z71 package is perfect for Montana roads. I ordered it with all the options, including the rear captain seats. This has been the best vehicle I have ever owned and over the years, there have been several. I would like to update, but I'm not sure why, other than vanity. ConsNone

Love This Vehicle. — I bought this car new. It has been in the shop one time for a factory recall. Other than that, a new battery and new brakes. 99,879 miles and trouble free. Maybe I was just lucky, but it is a good one. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

I Have Always Loved Bowties And Now I Own 1 — acceleration is great handles like a dream, brakes at a decent rate. body is in great condition appearance is perfect for me its a good 4wd suv that can handle the snow and ice very well lol.gas mileage is about 18- 22 miles per gallon. this suv is very fun to drive and very comfortable for those long road trips. With the ability to seat seven with its third row seating it's an unbeatable combination ConsThe only negative would be the mpg. It gets 17mpg highway and 15mpg city.

Great Vehicle On Looks, Space, Comfort And Price. — Overall this is vehicle is perfect for the family who doesn't want a minivan but needs the room. Although should you have more than two children you may want to consider the Suburban. Regardless, I have had both vehicles, one or the other over the last twelve years and can't see any reason to get anything else. It offers all the amenities that would come in a luxury vehicle at a more reasonable price. There are so many options to choose from and add on packages you will no doubt, ride in style no matter what your budget. I feel very safe in these vehicles as well as comfortable. Sweetness On 24's — I bought this 04 Tahoe brand new from the dealership and I spent over $18k on additions from the 24 inch rims to the 17" drop down west coast customs t.v., two 7" t.v's in the headrest, indash eclipse dvd/nav with 30 gig hard drive, 2000 watt amp with 4 pioneer 12" subs, PS2, cold air intake, performance chip. Had a sunroof put in because it didnt have one when I bought it. Then a viper remote start car alarm came in handy during the winter months when I was stationed in SLC, Utah. Overall asweet ride that turned heads everywhere I went! Primary Use: Commuting to work |
