everything

Cons

Nothing

Review — Great fun to drive, and the 1.8T engine has lots of possibilities for mods an upgrades. Gets great mileage in the city and on the highway, Built really well but some maintenance can be a pain, like changing headlight bulbs.

Pros

Very Quick

Cons

A bit nose heavy

24v Porsche Engine In A Jetta Stock — Average MPG is 23 Total sleeper have not had a Civic, RSX, or any other top of the line Japanense sub come even close to an even street race. This car glides to 70mph flawlessly. The 6 speed transmission is one of the best shifting trannys Ive shifted yet, not one grind on the power shift 2 to 3. Traction control sucks you will put your head through the windshield if you forget to turn it off during a impromto street race. The stock clutch doesnt seem to handle the power though I do feel some lag during full throttle in second gear and it in the drivetrain not the motor so Ill do a clutch so I guess. The suspention was made for a four cylinder the VR6 is a bit of weight up front for any aggresive cornering but feels very strudy @ 130mph to bad for the electronic speed limiter. I think 140 was posible

Pros

Cons

Overall — This car is a money pit... sooo easy to mod and so much HP for the money. Currently running stage 17lb of boost at ~ 220hp Not too expensive to maintain, but oil changes are around $90 per change since have to use premium

Pros

Will run forever on a tank of diesel fuel.

Cons

None

Great Vw Jetta Tdi — Performance - For 4 cyl turbo diesel decent acceleration, 4 wheel anti-lock disc brakes with enhanced stability program. Build Quality - No shakes or rattles. Doors close with a thud. Appearance - Looks like earlier small BMW. Cost - Amazing 1000 + Km's per tank; round trip drive to Anaheim Ca., back up California #1 to Calgary, Ab. total 6600 km's, total fuel costs $224. Maintenance no more than gas engine, longevity far outweighs gas models. Fun Factor - Easy to drive, park and cruise long hours on hwy trips..

Pros

Good exterior, fun to drive, looks nice, good performance

Cons

some annoying repairs w/ check engine light always on. etc.

35

Fair Fun Car — Build quality-the engine light turns on constantly!! and some plastic pieces inside the cabin, they need repairs, globe box handle, armrest handle. Cost of ownership, costly repairs if you take it to the dealer. not much leg space interior appearance .

Pros

Great quality, no mechanical problems, amazing ride and acceptable styling for its class

Cons

Interior life lacks, rear suspension goes bad after 50k, front wheel drive:(

25

V_dubs Rule — I love my car because i feel its unique. you can do alot with it performance wise and styling wise if you have the cash... I like it becasue it rides really well and its been really reliable for the way i drive it and i used to beat on it. its rather suprising on how quick it is for some people as well. all in all i think its been the best jetta so far and if money wasnt an option i could do some fun stuff with it without overdoing the tuning on it like some stupid honda civic.

Pros

The sound it has with the CAI (cold air intake)

Cons

eight valves

My Jetta — Really good solid car. Really smooth drive. I'm really happy with it. It kind of lacks of accel speed, but with some mods it gets better. The handling is pretty good, but again with different tire size it gets better. Nice interior. It's a little bit thirsty with the gas

Pros

yea dude

Cons

no dude

Hard Cawking — Black paint is hard to maintain..and 1.8T are nice but the new 2.0T has soo much more performance capabilities...too bad the 2.0T jettas are ugly. fast, reliable, gas efficient, fun to shift, and good for putting surfboards inside and outside. Small rims *16*, but great seats. Beats a mini cooper hands down.

Cons

Poor quality radio, MPGs are less than what was stated, uncomfortable seats(very firm)

Derek's Review — i love my car, it is quick and the v6 sounds amazing. It has been very reliable and i love the interior. The ambient back lit blue and red really set the mood. One of the most fun cars i have ever driven.

Cons

service of mantenance is bad

Almost Good — the cost of mantenaince is high, because the car often get problems, but in general the performance is good the car is not very fast, but is good for a common jetta
