ProsPick up, gas mileage, comfort, handling ConsCan't see radio display on sunny days, would like automatic trunk opener

Love It — I love this car. Handling is great, pick up is good. Really like the interior. It would be nice if there were an automatic trunk opener on the entry fob. The car is a lot of fun to drive, handles great in traffic. Have not had any significant issues. Primary Use: Commuting to work

My Wife's Hauling Toy, Baby Mobile, whatever U Wanna Call It — Good car, well built and relaible. No rattles and squeeks, considering it had 60000 miles on it when we bought it. Do not like tha factory sound system, terrible, suprised me for a japanese car. handles very well, brakes are good.Engine is powerful for a 4 cylinder, however, do not drive it enthusiastically, as it will drink gas like crazy!!! Worse than my Chevy Pick up!!!! Gets the same gas mileage 20 mpg!!!!!!Sheesh.

Recommend To All, Perhaps Even The Turbo Version — Snapped an alternator belt which in turn skipped the timing on the cambelt. got that replaced by my awesome mechanic dad. apart from that been a real pleasure to own, considering its a subaru. love the air con, rims are 1 of the easier brands to clean. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsEverything. It does everything, as if it's nothing. It's really an all-purpose vehicle. Whether going on a road trip down 95, or going off-road or in the snow (and blizzards), it drives and keeps you in control. Really a great car. ConsThe pins that hold the side molding occasionally pop off and need to be replaced. No damage to the car, just an annoying quirk.

Everything Every Car Should Be — I've really enjoyed owning and driving this car, and it never once failed me. When I left it out in a blizzard for a few weeks, after clearing off my windshield and rearview, I was able to drive right out. I didn't even shovel the snow. It has serious power, and in my opinion serious resolve. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsAWD, Gas Friendly

Fun — I like the handling of the car. In turns at higher speeds there is less body roll, hugs the road. Rain and snow is no problem if your ever worried about getting to work with bad weather. Plus my mother owned one, and liked the car. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Excellent Ride, Smooth And Sofisticated! — I love my car, it rocks! She is smooth sleek, sofisticated and well worth the monry. top Gear team were right! The parts are expensive but the thing about this car is it doesnt really need parts that often as they never seem to break!

ProsDecent mileage for an all-wheel drive vehicle. Roomy. Reliable. ConsPerformance. Craftsmanship could be a bit more refined.

The Family Truckster. Reliable And Unbeatable In The Snow. — I am a Subaru fan. The car is not a powerhouse, but since I've owned it, the only time I miss my full-size pickup is when I need to haul a sheet of plywood or drywall. Otherwise, you'd be amazed the things I've hauled home from Lowe's in this thing. Oh yeah...and it's great in the snow.

Proslots of cargo space, reliable Conslow quality interior, unattractive fascia, numb, slow

If You Only Need A Car For Carrying Your Stuff, This Is Your Car. — this car is an appliance. you drive it and it gets you to the place you wanted to go. It's useful. It can carry a shizz load of stuff in the back, but the engine is inadequate, steering numb and the seats don't adjust vertically. Interior materials are hard and cheap. Exessive wind noise. Exterior is OK. The rear and sides are quite nice, but the restyled front is just plain ugly. Roof racks are useful. Gas mileage is unimpressive for the size of car. If you just want something to throw all your stuff in, this is your car. |
