I Like It — Comfort and dependability. I wish that I had the regular cruise control instead of the Distronic. Great color. Wish that I could find an S600 in this color and stone interior without the Distronic. Otherwise this is a great car. Decent fuel mileage and a fantastic ride.

Pros

Super Fast! Super Reliable! Super Stylish!

Cons

Bad gas millage, 13/19, that requires premium fuel. But it is a V12 afterall. maintenance costs can be unreal and usually cost you up to 10-20k to fix most problems in the car.

Very Good, Fast, Stylish Car — Great car!!!! Super fast and super stylish!! Powerful growling noise of the V12 engine has all eyes on you! Super reliable with great handling and a very nice car to have overall. It was once worth 160,000$ in 2003 and now I can see why. Fuel economy could be better, 13/19, and the maintenance cost can cost more than the car itself in todays value. But overall great car to drive, and show-off in.

Great Handling Luxury Sedan With Refined Road Manners — I've owned many Mercedes benz cars over the years and this is my second favorite S Class. My favorite is my 1997 S Class 420 that I still own. This S430 was overall a great car with no issues and fair maintenance costs.

2003 S55 - Nothing But The Best! — Just purchased a 'very slightly used' S55 AMG. Nothing compares. Sold the Bentley and the Corvette...just don't need them anymore.

Awesome — I've owned a few powerful cars, WS-6 ram air trans am, a 96 impala SS, a 05 6.0 GTO, and a 06 magnum SRT-8, and this is my favorite vehicle to drive, lap of luxury but enough power to beat a stock corvette, you have to love it!!! total sleeper.

Glad I Bought It Second Hand. Would Have Hated To Pay 80k Brand New ! — Love this car. Spacious, comfortable and powerful engine. Remarkably great mileage for a V-8. If cost is a concern, wrong make for you. Cup holders are not useful. Great for long drives. Top class & will turn heads ! You have arrived.

Mmmmmmmm — First time you drive that car, be aware when you think you're speeding, you're already driving 200-220 KPH. Great car in every point!

Cons

It's just a little bit to big.

My First Car — This car drives smoothly, but its very large. The Back seats are very spacious and there is plenty of room in the trunk.

Very Practical Luxary And Speed When You Needed. — feels like an elephant, really. But the suspension and wheel length are brilliantly porported so it's handling is tight, hard, solid and yet comfortable. Only remember you're in a big car driving it that's all it does the rest for you. Brilliant car.

Usually this vehicle is armour plated!

Cons

Rather expensive & not very fuel efficient.

One Of Our Favourite Cars! — The performance of this car, its build quality, appearance & fun factor is very good but this car is meant for people of the higher society & not just anyone who has money. The car itself expresses the sheer boldness of the people in the vehicle!
