2003 Kia Optima SE Trim Overview

More convenience features are found on the 2003 Kia Optima SE sedan than on the base LX.  Though they share the same 138-hp, 2.4-liter DOHC I4 engine, the SE is only available with a 4-speed sport-shift automatic transmission.  This year, the 2003 Optima SE gets an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a garage opener remote, and automatic climate control.  This is in addition to a long list of features, which owners are amazed at for the price they pay.

These features include full power accessories, foglights, remote entry, a power driver's seat, heated mirrors, cruise control, and a sunroof.  A security system is standard, as are wood and leather trim around the shifter, steering wheel, and dash.  This makes the 2003 Optima SE much more luxurious than the base LX.  Dual front-side airbags are standard, along with 15-inch alloy wheels.  ABS is not offered on the Optima.  If you want even more luxury, you can add on leather seats, a 6-CD changer, and a power passenger seat.  Owners like that the 2003 Optima SE looks more expensive than it is, and they also like the gas mileage.  Some don't like how little the dash controls are and they wish the engine had more power.
