Great Truck! Nothing But Impressed!!! — Last year of the famous 7.3L Powerstroke. Very reliable, and very nice. Has most of the options a person could ever want. It is a big pickup, but for being 8,000 pounds it still moves right along, thanks to the superchips tuner, performance intake, and straight pipe... Overall, i've never had a vehicle like it.

Pulling Machine — I have owned this truck for four years, my father had it before I bought it. It was used on our farm to haul cattle, hay and equipment. I use it for pulling my racecar and equipment. I absolutely love this truck. Its my pride and joy.

Pros

The basic truck has lots of power and the 7.3L is one awesome engine.  With the lift kit, large 37" tires, and enhansed tuning, the look and sound adds to the fun ride--lots of testosterone!  All the guys (and galls for that matter) want one.

Cons

Fuel economy, but hey--you're asking for poor fuel economy with 37" tires!  Also, the lift kit makes it hard to easily access the back end without a ladder, or stepping on on the tire--probably a younger guys' truck.

Fun, But Expensive To Drive. — I basically said it above. Speaking purely of the F250 supercab, there are times when I wish I had a quad-cab, but most of the time the extended cab is sufficient. If I had to do it over again, I'd pick the extended cab again simply to reduce turning radius and improve fuel economy. It's comfortable, although the leather material seems a bit thin and wears too easily. I hear Ford finally got their new diesel engines right, but only after many years of stuggling--post 2003 7.3L era. I like the 7.3L, but the fuel economy suffers. The new diesel engine gets better fuel economy, but who can afford a 2013 diesel. I'll definitely check them out in about 4-6 years once they reach my used-car price range!

The ultimate family car,  carries everything, hauls the toys, for a truck, quiet, with ok ride

mileage, brakes, maintenance,

Parodox — Ok, the mileage sucks, 11.5 with the V10 and 430 rearend, the brakes are horrid (replace every 20K), its lumbering and has a 1/2 mile parking radius, and there are other concerns, but it is my parodox. I love this truck. It goes anywhere, tows everything, holds 6 passengers with space to spare, pretty quiet for a truck, you sit up high and can see the road (and you need to because of a dismissal stopping distance). Overall quality is good, there are problem areas: on my third set of brakes at 60k truly highway miles (at 11.5 mpg you better only drive on interstates--computing is 9 mpg or less), and differential with limited slip needed major repair (disappointing for a heavy duty truck that hauls kids and soccer gear with no commuter stop and go driving), Despite the negatives I still like this truck better than my significantly more reliable Chev Tahoe, (wife loves the Tahoe). 100% of the use is recreational, so mpg is not a big issue, but it would be if I drove this vehicle as a daily driver or more.

Its A Diesel And A Truck. — Didnt I just answer this? If you haul things, drag things, or play in the mud this is a good vehicle. 6.0L Diesel gets decent fuel mileage. I get between 16 to 19 per gallon with a 30 gallon tank.

Love It! — Bought it from my father. Some performance mods. Love the King Ranch! Rides like a true truck (not like a caddie aka chevy). Even with the stock suspension it's a tall ride. On highway 18-20+ mpg. BEDRUG and roll-up cover. Love this truck!

This Truck Rocks! — This truck is absolutely awesome to dive. It has power, acceleration, handling and everyone says it's badass! Huge cab area, captians cairs in the fron so only seating for 5, but they all have more then enough room! This truck is sturdy, unless I'm hit by a dumptruck I'm probably walking away from any wreck I may get in(knock on wood).
