Big Car, Big Smile — I drove the 4.6 litre V8 model and loved it. It is the biggest car I have ever drove and it is the funnest. It has 248 thousand miles on it, the door sensors don't work, and the A/C broke, and the right rear window stopped working, but it doesn't matter because when you drive this car and put your foot down you immediately are thrown a mass of power and a very loud noise. The computer says it gets 15.1 MPG. The high driving position is great, but everything is plastic...everything, and it does not all fit together right. The car is easy to steer, but there are more rotations in the wheel so you don't flip at high speeds. This makes it dificult in small places, especially cities and small towns.

Pros

It can carry all of my soccer gear plus that of the entire soccer team. It always gets me from A to B.

Cons

It gets such bad gas mileage and thats the only bad thing about it.

2003 Ford Expedition — Ok i like my car don't get me wrong but when it comes down to miles per gallon it sucks!! Other than that my car is great. I haven't ever had any problems with it. I can put as much crap in it as i need and i will always have enough room. I have even carried 9 people plus all of their soccer gear in my car and still had room. I like.

Comfort — Smooth ride, comfort, style, affordability, great body design, many features/options...dependability, & this vehicle has the capacity to perform many additional duties aside from transporting children safely & comfortably. The expedition is truly an SUV with much to offer, & the options are great!

2003 Expedition Ex-sheriff Search & Rescue K-9 Unit 4x4 — My expedition is a retired sheriff search & rescue k-9 unit that came with all the maintenance records. The computer was flashed at ford to increase performance and I added a high voltage ignition sys and throttle body spacer to gain 29+ mpg on the highway. With it being a government truck they kept very good maintenance on it with full records. I’ve had no break downs or worn parts due to its time as a k-9 unit. Search & rescue units seem to have less wear and abuse than patrol or drug enforcement units.

My wife won't drive it because she thinks it's too big!

Love My Suv — I love my Expedition. I hate to sell it, but my commute is too far for a large SUV. I wish my wife would drive it, then we could keep it. It has high miles, but that is a tribute to how good it is. It is in great shape. I will miss it a great deal.

2003 Expedition Eddie Bauer Limited 4wd — I purchased a 2003 expedition eddie bauer 4wd this past weekend. My favorite part is the middle row captians chairs. It is like a extra roomy minivan inside and a full size suv on the out side. This model has every bell and whistle and only has 75,000 miles on it. This vehicle glides on the road. With the 5.4 enigine driving seems effortless. I was lucky to find it in such pristine condition. My husband did not want to buy it until he drove it and he fell inlove with it. We truly could not be happier with our choice in vehicles.

Lovable Big Suv — Great vehicle for the price we got. big gas consumption. use big tires. good brakes, handling, easy to get parts because, is a Ford! 4.6L engine is a little beast. the transmission is awesome and very freaking strong as well.

Solid — I like this truck, when we purchased it what attracted us to it was the size and the versitility of the third row back seat. We have had it for ten years now and think it is it time for a change. It is a solid vehicle and we have not had many problems with it at all, but the thing that might not bring me back to the expedition is the finish. The materials that were used for these vehicles sems to be cheap and not thought out very well. With all that said it is a very solid truck.
