2003 Chevrolet Venture Review
Prosgas mileage and utility. Great styling, all glass side windows. ConsNeeds a few more premium options, like heated seats and mirrors.

I Would Buy Another Venture If Gm Made One (don't Like The Design/styling Of The Uplander). — The Venture has decent acceleration and surprises many at stop lights. I like the gas mileage: usually 18 to 20 around town and 25 to 26 on trips. It hauls a lot and is still well balanced with a full load. Very good winter-time traction. It is heavier than it looks, over 5000 lbs. All seats are comfortable, including the back ones (Chrysler space savers are very uncomfortable). Previously had a Lumina. With the 3.8 engine, it was a bit faster. Loved the plastic body (no dings & no rust). Hated the dash board, very poor design. Primary Use: Family transportation

Great Familly Van For The Money — This vans are very reliable, with proper maintenance can last over 200k. Good safety rating and reliability reviews on other websites. Low cost maintenance, very roomy. Well built over all the quality of these vans is great for the money. Primary Use: Family transportation

Required Driving — A necessary evil. I know that a lot of people have problems with these cars, but I have not. It's been reliable and reasonable on gasoline. I have it because it's required driving with several small children. I don't have anything against this car, just not much that is exciting either. I had a Honda Odessey before this, and it wasn't appreciably different -- just a lot more expensive.

2003 Chevrolet Venture Base Review
ProsSolid acceleration, great cabin noise from the engine when putting the hammer down Conssluggish cornering, rear passenger leg room very limited

Solid — This car isn't just for soccer moms. It's for the dad who wants to drive with style and performance while taking your family everywhere. This car has gone through a dear at 140km/h, a 2 week trip to florida and back, and has slid off the road... and it still purs like a kitten The engine noise inside the cabin sounds great, and it feels like your driving a high performance SUV, sluggish around corners but is solid off the line (or a traffic light for that matter) This soccer mom minivan isn't for soccer moms anymore, its a freaking Tank!

2003 Chevrolet Venture LT Entertainer Review
ProsExcellent Ride, Excellent A/C, more than enough room, perfect family car. ConsGas guzzler, expensive and hard to find parts (outside US)

Why I Like An American Car — My kids love this car, they even have karaoke sessions in it during out of town trips. I "love" to to have it fixed, taking away most of my free-time. Very nice "hobby car". Try recommending to your enemies, if they buy one you're even! Primary Use: Family transportation |
